History is always open to interpretation though, unless you’re only sticking to numbers (and even they are subject to creative accounting. As a small example, in my country there is a big emphasis on lowering the “Easter road toll”. But when someone is in a car crash over Easter, but doesn’t die until after Easter, it’s not counted in the toll).
There are always debates in History, and there is often just a consensus over events (particularly their causes). Suggest you discuss this with your teachers too.
