We’ll have 30 clubs total when the Arizona Diamondbacks and Tampa Bay Devil Rays join in three years. Regarding alignment… I’m open to suggestions. Detroit slides over to AL Central, flip Milwaukee to NL. Arizona to NL West, Tampa Bay to AL East. But that’s 16 NL teams and 14 AL, and we just had 14 AL/12 NL prior to Rockies/Marlins in ’93! I say flip Milwaukee AND Houston - Brewers to NL Central, Astros to AL West. So that’s 15 teams per league, 5 per division. And it’s a good thing we just approved interleague play because we’ll need it year-round with the odd number of clubs per league. GOOD IDEA! AND LET’S ALSO PUT THE EXPOS IN THE AL EAST WITH TORONTO AND HAVE BOTH FLORIDA TEAMS IN THE NL EAST! CHARLIE, CALL SOMEONE UP FROM THE MINORS. And I never got to see Camden Yards!!!
