???: “You’re welcome.” They smirked

Jamison: w-wha.... w-who are you....?

???: “I am your Guardian angel!” *Their wings glow a slight bit brighter as they float down to the side of the hospital bed* “The boss told me that you tried to.. *They slide their finger across their neck* so I’m here to make sure that doesn’t happen!” *They smile, but something in their expression told that there might be more to it*

James: ... is there anything else...?

???: “Nope! That’s the jist of it!” The remorseful face that they once had was now gone as they responded

James: hm.... okay....

???: They smile, “Any more questions?”

James: no... not really...

???: “Good! Usually when people first see me they have too many questions, way too many! Like, I saved you, give me a break guys!” They cross their arms

James: huh....

???: well, I’ll leave you ta rest! Call for me if ya need anything. Oh wait- You don’t know my name- Call me Lee!” They smile before their wings covered them up, almost like a blanket and they disappeared as their wings left a small feather on the floor.

???: “Sorryyy it didn’t” They frowned before quickly smiling again and hovering down to the bedside

???: “Suicide DOES suck! Glad ya learnt yer lesson.”

“Why can’t you let me die?? If you’re my guardian angel, you’d support my needs and right now I need to die.”

???: “Rude.” They scoffed, “well even if you ‘needed to,’ you’re not supposed to! Sucks, I know. But the boss got something for you to do.” They shrug.

???: “My boss, you don’t think I was saving people on a whim, did you? This is my job!” They sounded teasingly offended

“Couldn’t you just... let me lay here and starve or something then? Or do i- have to come with you?”

???: “You can lay here, but you cant starve to death. When I’m here, dying is impossible! And you probably do need to lay here..” They look at Lefty and their injuries from the attempt

“Fine-“ *he snuggles up into his pillow, getting eye ink on it)

???: “huh, come to think of it, I usually work with humans.” They mutter.
