*Eggy swoops her up off her feet and carries her in his arms*

*They go inside, but Eggy set her down before they reach the living room where everyone else is*

Eggy: I'm sorry everyone... I just had an emotional moment...

*Xander and Kinyani smirk at each other once again*

Eggy: I was thinking, if me and my kids are gonna stay here for the next couple week, maybe we should get some beds? I'll pay for them, of course. Ove and Essy are already bunking with Bean and Inky, so I need someone to volunteer to share their room with me...

Xander: We can try to make room

*Ghostie is playing with the kids*

Eggy: well... Who should I bunk with?

*Peyton looks at Eggy*

*Eggy perks his head up and sees Peyton behind him, he starts blushing again*

*There's bags underneath his eyes, he looks like he's been crying a bit too*

Eggy: It's too late for them to send a transmission to their leader, they've already all been destroyed, if you think we're gonna be raided and captured. I just h-have a question for y-you... P-peyton...

Eggy, normal voice: we're gonna go but a bunk bed, we'll be back in like an hour or two.

*They get to the store and find a nice looking bed, and Eggy lies down on it*

Eggy: super soft... It reminds me of the bed I have back at my house...

*Eggy makes an adorable little yawn as he stretches out, he sees that he's been clinging to Peyton all night, but strangely doesn't get embarrassed...*

Eggy: good morning...

*He lightly pushes himself off Peyton, he still seems kinda gloomy, but also seems a lot better than the night before*

Eggy, who doesn't bother to watch the news: I'm gonna go get some breakfast and take a morning piss... *He leaves for 5 minutes, returns with a bowl of cereal, and sits directly next to Peyton*

*Peyton leans on Eggy*

*Eggy blushes a little bit but he leans against her as well, Xander and Kinyani smirk at them, them smirk at each other*

Eggy: *noms his cereal* you're very sweet, y'know that Peyton?

Peyton: Thank you Eggy... I already miss Inky though

Eggy: oh Peyton... I miss her too.

*He hugs her, Eggy gets too caught up in trying to make Peyton feel better, and accidentally gives her a kiss. Nobody else sees it, but Eggy quickly realize s the mistake he made*

Eggy: (INTERNAL SCREAMING) *silence and a mix of horror, fear, and regret in his eyes*

*Peyton feels it and secretly gives Eggy a kiss back*
Peyton: If only this damn Empire wasn't EVIL!
Xander: The Inkverse Empire is what we'd call... Nazis
Kinyani: Yeah... they are evil
Ghostie: What's a nazi?

*Eggy blushes deeply, he can't handle it*

Eggy: I uh, I, um, I have to uh, go.

*He gets up and rushes upstairs to the Inklas balcony to hide*

*As he was going to the balcony, he suddenly sees an Enperry 1 class destroyer come into the atmosphere*

*Eggy sighs, and blasts the destroyer with a massive laser and yeets the rubble into space, along with a bomb that would blow up any other ships, with telekinesis*

Eggy: What was I thinking?! I didn't mean to do that! But she... She kissed me back... dang it... *He holds his face in his hands*

Peyton: NO!

*Eggy latches onto Peyton and squeezes her tight, he's bursting with tears tears*

Eggy: *sobbing* why did this *sob* have to happen?! She didn't *sniff, sob* deserve it! I loved her so *sniff* much! Why?! *sob sob*

*Peyton hugs back*

Peyton: I don't know why she had to die

*Eggy keeps crying*
Eggy: Now I'll *sniff* never get to *sniff* see her again! *Sob sob*

*Over the next few hours, one by one, the Inklas go back to their rooms and go to sleep, but not Peyton, Eggy eventually passes out on top of Peyton while he's sobbing*

*Peyton feels extremely bad*

*Eggy starts mumbling in his sleep*

Eggy: o..mi...? *Eggy hugs Peyton in his sleep, thinking she's Omi*

*Peyton hugs back*

*Eggy slightly smiles in his sleep*

Eggy: om...i...

*Peyton falls asleep, and she wakes up the next morning, everyone else (besides Eggy) is awake and sitting around them, watching the news, however the ground does glance at them every few seconds*

Eggy: *snoring peacefully*

*Peyton wakes and sees the news*
Peyton: No... this can't be

*Eggy is still sleeping*
