Confessing to an Abortion

FROM MY NOVEL FATHER JOHN - A LIVE IN SEASON A CONFESSION OF ABORTION; Father John could guess her sin, but right now, that was not important. Rebecca laid on the floor crying. Every time she tried to talk the words seemed to physically get stuck in her throat and she started crying even harder. It took a while, but eventually she cried herself out. She sat up and looked at Father John, her normally bright blue eyes were swollen and bloodshot. In a voice filled with remorse she said, “I killed my baby.” Then she collapsed again, this time falling against Father John. He wrapped his arms around her and again let her weep. Bruce C Linder
