meanwhile, me knowing this wouldnt work, then providing an explanation:
the (im assuming) cake would need time to rise and bake thoroughly. the heat may be enough, but the 10 minutes is still required for the cake to have time to rise. it only works if you subtract heat nd add time. not the other way. (source: my mom is a former pastry chef from vegas, and i just asked her)
