That's okay! Yes, Kyle and Eric have been shown to hate each other, but to say that's all there is to their relationship is very reductive and overall pretty inaccurate. I can name a few events off the top of my head that prove otherwise. I can't fit them all here but these are the best examples in my opinion:
Cartman's side:
Smug Alert: Cartman was getting extremely bored without having Kyle around. Some people say that Cartman only brought Kyle back so he could make his life miserable, but this doesn't make sense considering how he could have just left Kyle's family to die in the Smug storm but chose not to, as well as his decision to stay anonymous as the savior instead of rubbing it in. This shows genuine care even if Eric denies it himself
Tonsil Trouble/Crack Baby Athletic Association/Cupid Ye: These are all really good examples of Cartman finding morality and taking a step back for Kyle's sake alone. When he realises Kyle is seriously distressed and the situation is beyond a simple kerfuffle, he does everything he can to fix the situation. Also, in Tonsil Trouble with the whole gag about people mistaking them for a couple, Kyle quickly corrects them while Cartman just stares with a blank face.
Cartman Finds Love: On the surface it seems obvious that Cartman only started the rumor about being in a relationship with Kyle so that Nichole would back off and get with Tolkien instead, but Cartman is usually a very critical thinker when it comes to manipulation so he would know there are better ways to get Kyle away from Nichole without bringing himself into it. He literally could have just said Kyle was gay on his own and it would work equally as well. If you think about it, it comes across as Cartman trying to drive away Nichole to keep Kyle for himself. This whole scheme is just one big emotional projection.
