actually, did you not that pumice, a common blue volcanic rock isnt technically a "hard rock" because it's easy to break with your hands? You can also draw with pumice too. And, mercury is a metal despite usually being in liquid form, so, mercury is also not a hard rock.
There are many other malleable metals and minerals that prove the fact most rocks aren't hard.
