Daryn: “You’re only realizing that now?”
*They snorted*
*Liz took a deep breath. At least everyone had sort of calmed down. Still, this wasn’t getting her anywhere. She’d begun to get impatient.*
Daryn: “What’s eatin’ you, Swirly?”
Liz: “What?”
Daryn: “Not good with names. Don’t feel like checking. Just goin’ by the thing on your hand. Anyways, what’s up?”
*She leaned back far enough in her chair it was a miracle she hadn’t fallen backwards*
Liz: “Nothing, just… do either of you happen to know a way out?”
Daryn: “All of em are HEAVILY guarded. Why?”
Liz: “I shouldn’t be here. I need to go home.”
Daryn: “Well, hate to say it, but it’s a little late for you. And besides, even if you could get out, s’far as I’m aware there’s no fixing the inkiness.”
Liz: “You’re sure?”
Daryn: “Positive, or believe me, I wouldn’t still be here. Sadsack, can you get up yet?”
*They looked to Jasper.*
