As mentioned above, there are two entities controlling the world of UnderCode, the Coder, who is in charge of the monsters in the Underground, and the Player, who controls the humans. Everyone, including the monsters, is either genocidal, neutral, or a pacifist. Those who are genocidal all have a mask with Chara’s signature smile on it.
