USSR betrayed the Axis Powers, I think.

The actual USSR flag is on rebel Spain evil. I didn’t do it (I added Spanish flag under Franco). I looked it up, and the USSR flag changed in 1936 (which is a strange time to worry about that, given that they expected war with Germany). It changed again in 1954/55. It gradually became more simplified and less stylised over time, much like corporate logos in the capitalist world (Soviets would hate that comparison).

Spain was allied to Germany but Franco didn’t join the actual war, so they were neutral but part of an evil alliance. That’s the Spanish flag under Franco too.
