The Reichstag fire was caused by a disgruntled communist and the National Socialists took advantage of the situation.
The Capital 'riot' (and I use the term 'riot' begrudgingly) was more of a protest that became a frat party of sorts and was spontaneously enacted by mentally ill Trump supporters that were egged on by FBI agents who had the 'riot' pre-planned so that the deep state could further their anti-nationalist agenda.
The two events aren't comparable in action or effect, but you are correct in that democrat agents and supporters were the majority among the most violent people that day.
