you're also just focusing on the extreme ones in the US, here in Europe it's calm and they're pretty chill. Even here in the LGBTQ stream, they allow jokes about them and aren't all that sensitive.

i live in the us but not long ago i lived in Italy and England
been to Germany, Austria, France, Scotland, Slovenia, the list is much longer
