i play stardew valley with my friend, and because he does all the important things, i spent all my time fishing, i am amazing at it, and now am the person that makes all the money, and almost has max fishing skill, i caught an ice pip even though it made me rage every time it appeared.

no i don't think i have yet, we're not very far into the game, i've just been fishing all day every day and realized that the cave fish are amazing for energy and health so i give them to my friend

and i'm so good that every time i get a perfect catch i get the purple star rarity for the fish i caught

Yeah the legendary fish are the hardest in the game
The only two fish that get close to the difficulty of those fish are the lava eel (floor 100 of mines) and the octopus

harder than the ice pip? oh no, i don't think i'll ever be able to catch them then

but it's funny when i get more diamonds than my friend from a whole day of fishing than they do with mining, i've gotten like 4 or 5 diamonds so far and he's gotten like... 2

At Ginger Island there's a place where you can enchant your fishing rod, and combining the right enchantment on the fishing rod and seafoam pudding, you can get your fishing bar so big it covers almost half the entire minigame thing
So you've got some stuff waiting to make it easier
