Chapter 5:
D: Draedon
M: Max
Max awakens in a comfortable house-like room, and he sees Draedon in front of him on a chair when he awakes on a couch
M: YOU-
D: relax, I’m not going to hurt you. As a matter of fact I am adopting you as my son
M: well that came out of nowhere. Also why adopt me after locking me up for god knows how long?
D: because I want you to trust me, as I need your help
M: and what for?
D: You see, there are other universes out there. Each with their own timelines. Each universe can be a multiverse with smaller universes in some cases. Each universe with multiple timelines. However some universes are being destroyed as we speak. There seems to be a mass outbreak of reality ending entities, destroying timelines and universes, and then moving on to the next. Being a hybrid, you can possess the strength needed to counter these threats.
M: Hybrid?
D: I’ll explain it later. I need you to trust me, Max. We will not have anymore incidents like last night in the main lab
