Eclipse: Thank goodness. For a minute I thought you ran off with us in battle and got hurt.

Midnight: It's about time for Madam Plonk to sing 'The Night Is Done.' We'd better get in our hollow. Do you know where your hollow is?

*you look down at their talons to see battle claws*

(whisper) I always wanted to be part of it(follows them)

*Eclipse has on a beautiful White Battle claws that change into black when there isn't any light. Midnight's battle claws with silver studs in them*

*Eclipse attacks a Pure One and rips his wing off and he drops fron the sky*

*Midnight is facing his own parents. Eclipse comes out from behind his father and twists his neck and kills him. Midnight attacks his mother and tears her eye out.* (sorry about that if it is detailed in the books I detail it)

*time skip* The next night...
Eclipse: Good thing we have the whole day to ourselves and take a break from the Chaws

Eclipse: I'm going to go flying, anyone want to join me?

Midnight: I will.

*Eclipse lifts off into the sky. She looks like as if she was tracing the stars with her starboard wing*

Eclipse: The Navigation Chaw does this all the time. *she motions to her tracing the stars*

''actually i can teach myself!'' -she said sounding nervous for a moment-

Eclipse:*becomes a caring and gentle owl* if you ever need help, see me.

''hmph, i don't need any help, just watch me-'' -she goes to fly then just falls on the ground-

*Eclipse carefully grabs her with her talons and takes her inside the tree.*

-she lets out a long sigh mumbling-''fine i might need a little help-''

*Eclipse speaks to a Male Snowy Owl with his Helmet and battle claws on. You look around and see most of the adults wearing them.*

''huh..''-she looks around and picks up a helmet that was too big to fit her head and put it on-

*Eclipse takes it off of her* Don't touch that! That is Army Equipment.

''cool!'' -she said as she's also wearing oversized battle claws-

Eclipse: Wait! I'm not okay.

''it thinks you're its mother now-''

Eclipse: *looks at the creature* Do I look like a dragon-cat to you?

-it just continues to nuzzle her as a large shadow passes over the tree-

Eclipse: Well Sprink *she cusses, knowing that they are in danger*

-something roars landing on the top of the tree making it shake-

*Eclipse carries thw baby to its mum and goes back inside, wishing not to be killed*

-she sees the baby get dropped onto the ground and the mother flew away-

Eclipse: What happened?

-she looked back in-''?...''

Eclipse: The reason I asked you if you saw a Pure One come this way, was because that is what attacked this creature*

''oh..''-she said as the creature whimpers then she sighs-''uhm..that creature might bring something dangerous..''

Eclipse: Like what?

''its mother..i saw something huge fly by before i found this tree-''

Eclipse: That explains why it was climbing the tree. I'd better get it back to its mum.

-it mews and nuzzled eclipse a bit- ''uh oh-''

Eclipse: What?

"so you know about humans right..?"

Eclipse: yes

"well..a human kept me as a pet-"

Eclipse: Is that why you can't fly?

"yea, thing is they wouldn't take care of me that much they would feed me but then just take me outside to show off"

Eclipse: If it makes you feel better, I was raised by a human but was released back into the wild.

"well it makes me feel a bit better but I was taken to someone else and person and they said I couldn't fly"

Eclipse: Dang.

-she nodded and started to go back to the tree-

*They make it there and Eclipse heads to her hollow*

-she just watches then goes and sits over by a tree-

''i-i think the mother abandond it-'' -she said as she looked outside and the creature is mewing loudly -

*Eclipse takes the baby back* but why?

''i don't know..'' -the baby mews loudly as its leg is almost twisted a bit-

*Eclipse carefully untwists the leg*

-she sighs as the creature whimpers loudly-"so uh...."-she looks outside then back to eclipse-"wanna go out and explore?"

As long as we stay in Tyto forest, I'm down for it.

"alright!"-she walks out then climbs down the tree-

*she hovers above her*

-she looks around-"so.. what's it like being out here?.."

Eclipse: Boring, sometimes.

"well it's..a bit new to me, I've never been out here before"

*hears a vole* shh. One second. *she swoops down and catches the vole and offers it to her* Hungry?

"erm..no thanks heh-"

Eclipse: ok then *She eats the vole and takes off to the sky*

-she spread her wing to go and fly then stopped as sighed as she walked-

*Eclipse lands beside her and walks with her, tired of flying*

"but it isn't that bad right?.."-she looks to her-

"how so..?"

Eclipse: Humans are rare these days. Thank Glaux for that.

"glaux?.."

Eclipse: Glaux is the first owl ever to exist.

Eclipse: It is Tweening time. C'mon, let's get back to the tree

Boron: Yes, Eclipse. It is about time we leave.

*Everyone who is wearing helmets and battle claws are gathered up in a group, facing towards the desert*

''where are you guys going??''

Boron: Battle with the Pure Ones. Stay.

''fine..'' -she said as she went to put a helmet on again-

(Time skip) *the group returns with 5 owls missing, covered in blood, but not their own, and 5 helmets and 5 battle claws.*

-helmets are stacked up into a small tower and she was sitting next to it-

Boron: May the people we lost be remembered in Glaumora.

-she looked at him confused-

*you realize that the helmets and battle claws were owned by the people who died. Also Glaumora is Owl heaven*

-she looked at the small tower she made then put the helmets and battle claws away-

*the owls make the churring sound that they make when they laugh*

Boron: *turns to Barran*

Boron: Me and my mate have decided. Until it is able to fly *mumbles under his breath* if it ever will. *talks to the crowd of owls again* We will keep it here.

-the next day its awake mewing loudly-

*all the owls wake up sadly to the mewing.*

Eclipse: I... Think it is hungry. What do cats eat?

Otulissa: Fish.

Random Fish Owl: I'm on it.

-it starts to get even louder-

*the fish owl comes back with a fish for it*

-it tried to eat the fish-

*the owls gather around it*

-it was unable to chew on the fish but kept trying-

*The fish owl walks up and breaks up the fish with its beak for the creature*

-it started to eat-

Boron: We don't always wear them. Tonight we are going into battle with the Pure Ones.

''oh...am i supposed to know who the pure ones are?..''

Boron: No. They are forbidden. I bet you got questioned when you arrived. The Pure Ones are Tytos, such as yourself.*

''oooh...do they wear anything like you guys because on my way here i ran into like two owls-''

Boron: Yes. Except their helmets are all shaped like the face of a Barn Owl

Eclipse: Did you see one come this way?!

*Boron hold Eclipse back* I know you want to find the Tyto responsible but you have got to wait.

''yea, they seemed pretty chill and they even gave me a mouse''

Boron: Do NOT follow them. They are evil!

Eclipse: I need a description of the owl you saw come this way.

''hmm..they looked to be a brown looking owl.. i dunno they left as quickly as they arrived''

Eclipse: *looks at Boron* Permission to lead the attack on that owl, General?

-she looked confused-

Eclipse: Well you have come to the right place. At dawn there won't be much owls there.

''oh okay..what are those things on your head and claws?..''

Eclipse: This *she motions to her head* is my helmet given to me by our blacksmith along with these *she motions to her talons*

''Ooooo..''-eclipse notices the young owl seems to look like a black barn owl- ''so..are there more of you??''

Eclipse: a whole army. Follow. *she starts flying and goes up into the giant tree*

-she didn't fly and instead climbed the tree-

Eclipse: *notices this* Why aren't you flying?

''huh?-'' oh uhhmmm..''-she looks like she's thinking and says a very noticeable lie-'' my wing broke! yeah..my wing is broke-''

Eclipse: Nice try. You don't know how to, don't you?

''i..''-she sighs-''i don't know how to fly..''

Eclipse: Evil Tytos.

*Boron walks in*

Eclipse: Your Majesty! The creature has been attacked by Pure Ones.

Boron: I will assemble a attack on St. Aggies at Tweener time tomorrow. They will never expect it. I will need you by my side in the battle so you can get your revenge. Get ready.

-it rests its head on the ground-

Eclipse: It will be okay, Mommy will avenge you.

-he smiled before closing its eyes to rest then theres a kid yelling from outside- ''helloooo??..anyone in this tree??''

*Eclipse flies down with her battle helmet and Battle Claws on towards the kid*

''....''-she just stared up at her-

''the who what and whatnow?'' -she looked confused-

Eclipse: Wait... Nevermind. What do you want?

''i was looking for a place to stay''

*the two owls are alarmed*
Eclipse: I think that is a... Dragonet?

Midnight: It can't be. Listen to it. It is mewing like a cat.

Boron: What is it? What is the problem?

Eclipse: *points to the creature*

-he stops as he looks up at them, he has an eye closed so his vision was a bit limited-

*Eclipse and Midnight fly down to examine the creature*

*Eclipse carefully pokes it with her Battle Claws.

-it backs away a bit making scared noises-

*the owls seem confused*

Boron to Barran: What should we do?

Barran: bring it in and examine it.

*Eclipse looks at Barran and nods*

*Midnight and Eclipse pick it up with their talons and take it inside the tree*

-it starts mewing loudly-

*all the owls of the great Ga'Hoole tree gather around it*

Otulissa: I know this creature! It is a Dragon-Cat.

*everyone just rolls their eyes at her*

-it gets scared and curled up hiding itself-

*Eclipse walks up to it and strokes it gently. She then plucks some down from her chest to makr it a cozy bed and walks off again towards Midnight.* (Midnight is her mate, btw)

-it gets calmed and started to fall asleep-

Eclipse: quick. Fly. *she lifts herself off the ground and Midnight does the same thing*

-it looks down at the ground seeing how high the fall is then jumped falling face first on the ground hard-

*Eclipse rescues the creature but instead of putting him back in the tree she puts him on the ground* I think you are safer down here until your wings get bigger.

-it rubs its face in pain as it makes noises then it got playful again and did a play bow-

Eclipse: ugghh. Do you never sleep?

-it rolls onto its back purring-

Eclipse: laughs*

-it rolls around hopping around like a ferret-

Eclipse: *hovers above the playful creature*

-it says something- muh! muh!

Eclipse: That's it. You've got it.

-it started to hover higher but then stopped tired-

Eclipse: maybe that is enough for today. Come on. *she picks it up in her beak and carries it to the Great Ga'Hoole Tree*

-iit seemed very tired and was breathing heavily-

*Eclipse coos it to sleep*

-it fell asleep purring-

Eclipse: *turns her head on her back and falls asleep along with him.
(Time skip the next morning)

-she wakes up to it mewing loudly-

*Eclipse's head is still on her back and she wakes up* Hmm?

-the mewing is coming from outside the tree-

Eclipse: No! Don't go so close to the edge! *she picks it up and places it in the middle*

-she sees its pupil is huge as a butterfly passes by-

Eclipse: Oh no...

-it pounces at the butterfly but the butterfly was out of reach and it fell on the ground-

*she catches it before it could hurt its self and puts it back down on the tree*

-it is still hyper as it makes noises-

Midnight: What is all this ruckus?

*Eclipse points to the creature*

-it looks at him tilting its head-

Eclipse: Do not attack him *she puts her wing on her face to show a face palm*

-it gets into a pouncing position and jumps forward a little-

Eclipse: Not cool. Dangerous. Shouldn't be in the talons of a kid. *she spreads her left foot talons to show her how dangerous they are*

''woah..hmph..fiiine....''-she takes the battle claws off-''so..who's that snowy owl guy??''

He is the King of The Great Ga'Hoole Tree.

''pfft- ga'hoole tree?''

Eclipse: It is called that because it is in the Lake of Hoole. Don't make fun of it.

-she holds in laughs-''alright alright'' -she walks up to the snowy owl-''sup''

Boron: *looks at her strangely* Hello?

''im star and you?''-she said-

Boron: I am Boron. King of The Great Ga'Hoole Tree. This is my mate. *he motions to a female beside him, also in Helmet and Battle Claws*

''why does every one wear those helmets and claw thingys?''

Eclipse: Once your wings are bigger you will be able to do this too.

Reawry?..-he said sounding as amazed-

Eclipse: Yes.

Woah..-he looked at her- how does you fwy?

Eclipse: You just flap your wings and catch the air and trust yourself. Give it a try.

-he looked at his wings then slowly gets up spreading his wings-..?

Eclipse: Now, flap. If you fall, I will catch you.

Otay..-he flapped his wings and almost began to fly but his body was too heavy-

*Eclipse catches it in her beak and takes him to a stump to practice on.* Here. You have a less risk of falling from the sky and killing yourself. Now. Try again.

-he flapped his wings as hard as he could and only hovered an inch off the ground-

*Eclipse has the most blood on her. But it isn't her own.*

-she looked at her and sighed-

*Eclipse leaves and comes back without all the blood on her and then she heads to the hospital-but she isnt hurt?*

-she followed her- ''whatcha d-'' -she sees the creature and her eyes widen-

*Eclipse walks up to the creature and puts her head on it and starts- Sobbing?*

-she slowly walked in- ''ma'am?...''

*she turns around alarmed and hides the creature behind her wings*

''ma'am...uhm..are you okay..?''

*she makes a demonic screeching noise* Yes. Now leave me alone for a while.

''...''-she sighs-''alright..'' -she turns and walks out as the creature mews quietly-

*she falls of the branch but flies back up and lands on it's back*

-its tail wags as it looks at her-

Eclipse: I think you are old enough to learn to fly. C'mon, let me teach you. *she flies towards the end of the branch and turns to the creature*

-it tilts its head then jumps forward playfully-

*Eclipse tries to get him to flap his wings*

-she notices everytime he jumps his wings flap-

Eclipse: hmm *she examines his wings*

-they seemed to be a bit smaller than his body-

Eclipse: Maybe in about a year you will be able to.

-it makes purring noises as it playfully jumps near the edge of the branch-

Eclipse: *finds him and walks over to him* And just what do you think you are doing, little creature?

-he's laying there with clawmarks on his back and his wings are torn-

Eclipse: Great Glaux! What happened to you? Are you okay? *she picks up the creature gently and takes it to the hospital part of the tree*

s-..someone attacked me when..i..was trying to fwy..-he said breathing noticeably fast-

Eclipse: *looks angry* did you see what kind of creature it was? Was it an owl?

y...yea..

Eclipse: *she looks even angrier* did the owls face in the shape as mine or similar to it?

*Eclipse's talon was in a fist.* Pure Ones...

-it makes a whimper sound-w..what are pure ones..?

Eclipse: Now that it is fed we can go to the Chaw lessons. See you late Midnight.

*Eclipse heads to the Navigation Chaw and Midnight heads to the Weathering and Colliering Chaw*

-it goes to follow midnight making noises-

*Eclipse checks on the creature after her Chaw is done*

-it isn't in the spot it was supposed to be in-

Eclipse: Wait a minute- did it move?

-there's a yelp and she sees it hanging onto a branch trying to climb back up-

*she helps it back up* There, there. *she cooed the creature to sleep*

-it almost falls asleep but walkes back up after a few mins then seemed hyper and playful-

*Eclipse is looking out toward the lake, not paying attention.*

-it jumps forward making the branch shake-

wakes*

Eclipse: What was that you little creature?

Midnight: I think it is calling you something...

M...ma..ma..-it says as it starts purring-

Eclipse: What?! *she is surprised*

Midnight: I'm... Gonna go hunt. Bye. *he hurriedly leaves*

Mama! -it rolls onto it's back again-

Eclipse: *she lands and nudges its head with her beak*

-it tilts it's head then makes a purr-

*Eclipse makes a churring sound that is made when owls laugh*
Eclipse: *examines its wings again to see if he is ready to fly or not*

-its wings are still small-

Eclipse: Will your wings ever get bigger?

*Eclipse picks up the creature and puts it on her back and she flies around.*

-it shrugs then spread its wings flapping them fast though it wasn't flying it felt like it was-
