Sobek, named after the Egyptian god of crocodiles, is Taya's sword that she forged herself. It's made from Suchusite, an extremely rare metal harvested from the scales of a giant crocodilian. Suchusite, half metal and half crystal, is powerful enough to repel weaker magic attacks and holds together under (most) stronger ones. Fitting for the defender of the Bladesmith's Forge.
Before y'all complain about Suchusite being too OP, let me explain. It can only be harvested from the shed scales of a giant crocodilian. Said crocodilian lives on a secret, remote jungle planet and only sheds its scales every 1,000 years. Taya was lucky just to find enough scales for her sword.
