Disney should really leave their animated classics alone and when Alice through the looking glass tanked at the box office, that should've been a sign for Disney to pull the plug on live action remakes

Yeah, the live action Jungle book is a guilty pleasure of mine, but other than that, they are all atrocities to the former masterpieces. I'm dreading the day they make live action hercules.

The 2016 Jungle Book remake was fine, but what started Disney's pointless remakes was the 1994 Jungle Book remake, and for nearly 30 years, it has gone to show that they have fallen into creative bankruptcy

Exactly, nobody knows how to be creative anymore! Even Disney, the pioneer of animation, is falling into the "Animation is just for dumb kids and we need to slam the message into their heads" pitfall.

By the looks of Elemental's box office performance, it seems as if Disney is trying to take Pixar down with them

It's almost comical, how Disney sees that with Puss in Boots and the Mario movie that their not the top dog anymore, so their like f#ck you, we are to big to fail, we'll take you all out with our remakes, starting with Pixar, because even though we own them, people still see them as a different entity with their own style, their not producing enough remakes, or any for that matter!

DreamWorks has more creative freedom than Disney, Pixar used to have creative freedom, the golden age of Pixar was 1995-2010, the silver age of Pixar was 2011-2016, the bronze age of Pixar was 2017-2019, and ever since Onward tanked at the box office because it was released around the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Pixar entered a dark age in 2020, and we can only hope they can recover soon to an animation studio that was once an empire and the one that paved the way for CGI

Movies in general have not been doing very good lately. Elemental and Teenage Kraken had the worst timing ever with being side by side with Indiana Jones and Flash, and even those did poorly! Across the Spiderverse was great, but wasn't quite worth what it was made for. At the very least TMNT looks fun, and I have high hopes for Blue Beetle. Not to mention how good Barbie and Oppenheimer will probably be great, and asteroid city was nice. But till then, not much good going on.

So much amazement back then, you had the lego movie, the original spiderverse, fantastic mr. fox, (a personal favorite of mine) and Rouge one, which is my favorite star wars movie! And that's just the tip of the Iceberg!

The late 2000s and early 2010s (2007-2015) were a great time to be a kid, Cars, How to train your Dragon, Toy Story 3, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, WALL-E, Up, Despicable Me, Madagascar, etc. those were the good times and the peak of animation in the 21st Century
