Alex:
*He out his phone away, confused as to how he had his number to begin with*

-the baby looks tired and is swimming around much more slower-

Alex:
"You alright little one?"

-she nods- me tired...

Alex:
"Well, you should get some rest. We've been out for a while." *He gave a cheerful smile.*

-she curls up falling asleep-

Alex:
*He smiled again, then went back in the house, sitting down on a couch*

-the house looked to be new, as if they just moved in-

Alex:
"Huh.. Nice place." *He got out his ohone and played a game.*

-theres rumbles of thunder and the lights flicker-

Alex:
"I didn't think so..hm.."

-he waits as he looks at the cushion and picked it up chewing on it-

Alex:
"That works I guess- just make sure not to eat the stuffing." *He laughed and started cleaning the tank*

-after he cleaned the tank mer is asleep but is still chewing on the cushion-

Alex:
*He chuckled softly and got a hose connected to fill the tank back up*

-after thet tank was filled up when alex went to pick mer up he made a growling sound-

Alex:
"Oop- ok then, sorry-" 😭

-he notices mer isn't breathing normally and was struggling to breath-

Alex:
"Mer?? Can I please pick you up and out you in the tank so you don't like- die?"

-he makes a small nod in his sleep and stops growling-

Alex:
*He sighed and took his hand back*
"I feel like a father-" 😭

-the baby continued to chew on the cart until they got to the checkout-

Alex:
*He told the cashier about the stuff the baby ate and paid an extra $300 for the cart and the mess, trying to basically bribe them lmao*

-they fell for it and let alex go, alex sees mer and the baby is breathing harshly struggling to breath air-

Alex:
*He quickly got them to the car*
"Gotta get you guys back fast..."

-the baby cried a bit as mer was still asleep breathing harshly-

Alex:
*He quickly lifted Mer into the car, then turned to the baby*
"Please don't bite me-" *He started to pick her up*

-she wasn't biting him and was just in pain-

Alex:
*He put the baby in the car, then all of the stuff and closed the door. He put the cart wherever and got in, quickly driving*

-alex gets back and mar and the baby are gasping at this point-

Mer*

Alex:
*He quickly got them out and rushed them to the tanks, putting them in the water one at a time*
"Holy sh-" *He let out a deep breath*

-they breathed normally again and the baby swims around excited while wearing the hoodie as mer is waking up-

Alex:
*He was trying to calm down*
"God.."

-mer goes back to sleep as the baby is still excitedly swimming around-

Alex:
"W-Well... at least she's enjoying herself-"

-alex notices she's bumping into the sides of the glass-

Alex:
*He was a little confused*
"Little one..?-"

-she stops and looks at him while upside down- ''eh??''

Alex:
"Just- please don't bump into that too hard ok?? We can't have that breaking." *He chuckled*

-she nods and continues swimming-

Alex:
"Oh, I'd better get them in-" *He stood back up and went outside, thinking of ways he could get the cages inside.*

-the slide doors should be able to get them inside-

(i am sosososo sorry, I have had no motivation, and i feel so bad bc everytime i see thos app i groan bc ik people are getting annoyed w it 😭😭😭 i promise me not replying isnt personal lmao)
Alex: "Hm.." *He moved the tanks to the house, sliding them in through the slide doors.*

-the baby almost wakes up-

(sorry the amount of days are getting longer. shis been hard lmao)
Alex: "Oop-" *He slowed down.*

-it rested it's head down as alex sees a photo of the person with a mafia, the baby is in the background in a dirty tank-

Alex: *He frowned and looked at the picture closer.*

-the baby looks angry with a shock collar on and the person looks nervous but calm-

Alex:
🥺 "Awe-"

-she moves up and down as mer also looked excited-

Alex:
*He got to the store and parked*
"Ok little one, please no biting anything or anyone." *He chuckled*

-she nods-

Alex:
*He got out and opened the doors for them*

-they get out and the baby drags itself over to and empty cart and climbs in with mer-

Alex:
*He closed the doors and locked the car, then pushed the cart in the store, ignoring other peoples' stares*

-the baby makes noises as it sees meat and gets out of the cart dragging itself to it fast and started to eat some of the meat-

Alex:
"Hey wait woah woah woah- I have to pay for it first-" *He laughed*

-she stopped then continued eating as mer just looked around-

Alex:
"Are you hungry?"

-he nods as he knocks down a trashcan-

Alex:
*He chuckled and stood up*
"I have some meats in the fridge."

okay -he said as he dug through the trash-

Alex:
*He headed to the fridge*
"Don't eat anything out of there." *Chuckling*

-when alex looked back to mer he is eating something-

Alex:
"Mer- What even is that?-"

-he chewed faster-

Alex:
"Mer what are you eating?-" *He kneeled down to see*

-he stays quiet still not showing alex what he was eating-

Alex:
"Good. Now I know I should put up a security system."

-they nod then say- ''but uhm..could you come to my house and see something real quick?..''

Alex:
"See what?"

''someone gave me a baby megalodon that looks sorta like your merman and i don't know what to do..''

Alex:
"It might not have been a megalodon-"
*He sighed*
"Alright, but do you have an extra tank for him temporarily?-"

-they nod-

Alex:
"Ok then, I suppose it should be fine."

-they go to the persons house and they go to their backyard, theres an empty tank which mer could go in then there's a big tank with something clawing at the glass and it had a shark tail but a kids front half-

Alex:
"Well, let's get Mer in some water first- I don't know how long they had him out of it."

-they nod and fill the empty tank up with water then put mer in it as the other one in the bigger tank is trying to hop out-

Alex:
"Please let me see??" 🥺 *He gave him the best attempt at puppy eyes*

-he makes a small growl-

Alex:
*Sigh* "Fine, I'm going to get the meat. Please don't choke again-" 😅

-he nods as he swallowed whatever he was eating-

Alex:
"I really hope that wasn't something dangerous-" *he got up and headed back to the fridge*

-he layed there waiting-

Alex:
*He came back with a lot of meat*
"Ok, here you go- Don't eat the plate." *He chuckled*

-he nodded and started eating, alex has an idea to test is mer is hostile or not by going to take the meat away-

Alex:
*He had a "brilliant" idea, and started to take back the plate*

-he growled loudly and grabbed alex's arm tightly digging claws into his arm-

"Well I might as well get you some too while I'm at the store."

-he shrugged- okay...can..me and the kid come too?-

"Uh you can but...sure, as long as she doesn't attack me, she can-" 😭

-he looked happy as she dragged herself over to alex- ''me cold?''

Alex:
"What was that, little one?" *He kneeled down some, but not getting too close*

''me no warm''

Alex:
*He took off his jacket*
"Can i put this on you??"

-she nods-

Alex:
*He put it on her and chuckled*

-she made a happy noise as mer dragged himself over to alexs car-

Alex:
*He offered the baby the meat*
"Peace offering, little one??"

-she immediately jumped up out of the water and grabbed the meat-

Alex:
"Here you go, little one." ^^

-she ate it fast-

Alex:
*He smiled*

-she made a growling/mewing type sound and started crying again-

Alex:
"That- was all the meat he had-" 🥺💔

-she gets upset and gets louder-

Alex:
*He teared up, feeling bad, bc he is that type of person*
"I'm sorry, I'll go buy some for you- And of course Mer too-" 🥺

-mer shook his head- im fine im not hungry

Alex:
*He jnlocked his door and led them to a room*
"Here will do, thank you."

-they nod putting the tank in the room and left, the merman looked at alex and started to panic while squirming in the chains-

Alex:
*He paid them each and extra $200*
"Thank you, have a good day."

Person: you too
-the people leave-

Alex:
*He looked at the merman*

-the merman is trying to break free of the chains-

Alex:
"Hey, calm down. I'm going to get them off."

-he stopped and looked at alex in fear-

Alex:
"I'm going to help you- is there like, a key for these?"

-he nods and tries to point at a key that was at the bottom of the tank-

Alex:
*He laughed and put a bunch of meat in the cart*
"I'll just have them add it to how much i'll pay for this-"

-she stopped earing and hopped back in the cart, alex sees that the packages the meat she was eating were broken and were leaving a mess-

Alex:
"Oh, little one-" 😭 *He chuckled*
"I'll ask someone to clean it up and pay extra for the mess. Now for the hoodies!-" >:)

-when they get to the clothes the baby starts growling and getting angry-

Alex:
*Laughing* "Do you want me to get you stuff too??"

-she nods-

Alex:
"Alright little one, I'll get you m- wait, do you want a hoodie or normal shirt??"

"a uh..hoodie"-she said as she bit and chewed on the cart-

Alex:
"I- a lot of people have touched that, little one-" *He smiled nervously at where the baby was chewing.*
"How big of a hoodie do you want?"

-she shrugged as the metal on the cart breaks and she spits it out chewing on another piece-

Alex:
"...Dod those *ssholes steal him back?" *Talking to himself*

-he also sees a bit of blood-

Alex:
"...." *He went inside and got his keys and jacket then came back out and got in his car*

-alex goes back to the underground auction and they're giving mer to someone else but mer isn't in a tank and is wounded-

Alex:
"Hey b*stards, he's mine!" *He yelled and pointed at Mer*

-the people look at him and the person who they were giving him to looked confused-

Alex:
"I bought him. They broke into my house and took him." *He started walking towards them*

-the person who they were giving him to picked up mer and walked over giving him back to alex- ''sorry..didn't know he was someone else's..''

Alex:
"Don't apologize, it's not your fault. Did you already pay them?"

-they shake their head np-

Alex:
*He gently picked him up and set him down in the clean water*

-he gently sunk to the bottom of the tank as he slept-

Alex:
*He looked back at his couch*

-it was torn up a bit-

Alex:
*He chuckled*
"Guess this is his now."

-after a few hours mer wakes up-

Alex:
*He had taken a shower and was playing on his phone*

-he went to the surface and plopped on the floor-

Alex:
"Well hello there." *He chuckled*

-he rubbed his eyes- hi..-he dragged himself around, looking for food-

Alex:
*He unlocked the car and opened the doors for Mer and the baby*

-they get in, the baby is excited as mer is looking out the window- so...shouldn't i get a shirt or something?-

Alex:
*He chuckled and closed the doors, then got in the car*
"I was going to buy you one at the store as a surprise. I guess i should ask, do you want a hoodie or just a normal shirt?"

hmm..a hoodie -he chuckled-

Alex:
*He smiled and started the car*
"Do you want a big one, of one that's actually your size?" *Doesn't actually know what size Mer would be*

one that's my size -he said as the baby got surprised by the car starting- ''huh!? what dat sound?!''

Alex:
"Ok." ^^
🥺 "Awe, don't worry little one, it's just the car." *He chuckled*

-she chewed on the front seat as they drove-

Alex:
*He looked over, trying not to laugh*

-they get to the store and the baby gets excited- ''me happy me happy me happy!''

Alex:
*He laughed*

-he sat in the place where the cushion was and curled up-

Alex:
*Eventually he was done draining it*
"Ok, I'm going to get you a couple steaks-" :)

-he nodded as he dropped the cushion on the floor then jumped onto it-

Alex:
*He chuckled and went to his kitchen*

-when alex came back the merman had opened the cushion and was inside it-

Alex:
:/ "My couch- Anyways, here you go-"
*He offered the steaks on a plate*

-he stared at the plate then picked it up and tried to eat it with the steak-

Alex:
"Woah woah woah, that'll tear up your insides-"

-he stops- what is it??

Alex:
"Now how to get that.." *He was thinking*

-the merman tried to move his tailfin to move the key but since his tailfin is chained he couldn't-

Alex:
"This is kind of gross but-"
*he took off his jacket and reached his arm into the water, reaching down as far as he could*
"Ew-" 💀

-alex gets the key-

Alex:
*He quickly pulled his arm up*
"Need to change the water too, ew-" 🥲

-the merman yanked on the chains a bit-

Alex:
"Right, sorry-"
*He unlocked the lock to the chains and help get them off the merman*

-he swims to the surface and tries to get put of the tank-

Alex:
"Hey wait, won't you like- die without water?-"

i mean..no but if im out for like....hours i'll die

Alex:
*He got up to the tank and slowly reached in to take off the muzzle*

-the merman tried to get away but wasn't able to because of the chains and when alex got the muzzle off the merman didn't biye him but looked like her was going to-

Alex:
"It's ok, I won't hurt you."
*He put the muzzle in his car, not caring that it was wet*

"..."-he stays quiet, it looks like he's thinking-

Alex:
"Anyways, to get it in my car-"

Person: hm.. we could put it in a truck and follow you to your place

Alex:
"Yea, that could work."

-they get the tank onto a truck and followed alex to his house-

Alex:
*He had a big mansion*
*Listening to the radio*

-the people get the tank off the truck-
Person:so where do you want us to put it?

Alex:
*He got the remaining meat out of the car and put it in the freezer* "I wonder how that man is doing..."

-alex is getting a call-

Alex:
"Hm?" *He answered the phone* "Hello?"

-it's the man- ''h-hey..''-he sounded like he was tired-''d-did you deal with t-the creature?..''

Alex:
*He looked at the baby*
"Uhhh- define what you mean by 'deal with'??-"

''did you calm it?-''

Alex:
"O-Oh, yea... are you ok?"
