Your oc is at an underground/illegal auction. The auctioneer says up next for bid is a rare, never seen before species. They roll out a small, dirty tank about half full of dirty water, and in the tank is what seems to be a merman. Their tail has the color and pattern of a koi fish. The end of their tail is chained to the tank, his hands are tied together, he is wearing a collar over his neck, not connected to anything, and they are wearing a mask/muzzle that fits over the bottom half of their face. Covering their mouth and nose, it’s secured by three straps, two going over the ears and connecting at the back of their head, the third going up the middle of their face and connecting with the other two. The merman stares angrily at the audience. The auction begins
