My friend told me to post this here to see if anybody thought of this as homophobic. Well…?

It is hard to tell without any context, but I wouldn't say it is worthy of a permanent ban. Unless this was a reoccurring offense. But yeah, saying "I don't believe in lgbt stuff" can come off as homophobic. I don't think that comment is that bad in comparison to other things tho. I feel like a warning or a temporary ban would have been more appropriate.

They could have just removed the comment and gave me a warning. I have never said anything against or hateful to the lgbtq+ community, real life or the internet (believe it or not)

I got into a argument with somebody if a character is gay in canon or not. He started calling me a ‘homophobe’ because I didn’t believe the character is gay. I repeated multiple times I am not a homophobe. Then the mods banned me. Idk if the other person got banned
