I have heard claims of grooming and pedophilia. Which is strange, given that many of the films have been around for years, and only now they take issue with it. I know about the Owl House show which I watched six episodes of to screen for as a parent. Transgenderism was not the plot of the show. THere is a character who happens to be trans, which there are people in school that our children meet who, whether we agree with the idea are not, identify as trans regardless. I'd rather my child learn how to interface with people from different backgrounds than attack what they don't understand.

But, I'll let you answer your question so we can talk about that specifically instead of me filling in the blanks ad nauseam.

The issues from what I have learned is less about the films and more about the involvement in politics. I may be wrong on that but that is just what I have heard from friends.

I made a joke about Disney finally having guns and memed on the right wing that now that Disney has guns, they'll like them, which is a reflection of their shallow political standpoints which often flip back and forth based on the greatest benefit to themselves, damn the principles.

I could go into length about the history in back and forth between DeSantis and Disney, but that'd be nearly an essay and have no issue providing it for you if you like.

If you want me to sit here and attack the left or right I can but those are frankly useless and will lead to actual violence instead of resolving differences peacefully. Does *anyone* truly know 100% what is behind the doors? No. But like you, I'm allowed to have my opinions. Just like those who want to watch Disney burn. I posted a joke that memed the political right wing.

That's where this conversation could have ended. Instead, you took it upon yourself to try to inform me of something I have been paying very close attention to. So, who really chose to unpack this? Me? No. I made a joke. You wanted to have a discussion, and I am more than willing to discuss in a mature manner any topic you want to address. When I made my first comment you could have just said it was a joke and I would have laughed.
