Nope. Only do it if you know they'll accept you or know you'll still be safe. I know it seems like it, but you don't HAVE to come out. If staying closeted is safer, safety is more important. Don't make the same mistakes I did. Plus, if they don't know you're trans, they'll be less suspicious when you buy affirming clothing and such. Theoretically. Hope that helps! Love you 💜

Okay yes. If they won't budge, I wouldn't even try. But give them a chance. Let them understand. They may be transphobic because they just don't understand. If you make them understand then you could come out safely. It hurts more in the closet, but if they won't even try, then don't. If they are willing to, then I would try.

Im gonna be honest.... I thought it would be fine when I came out, even tho my parents are all the phobic, it ended up really bad. Im treated worse cause of that. My parents ha e me so much, I have a twin, and he's treated so much better, don't bother doing it if they are gonna hate you.
