I used a tablet to draw this, using the free app "Sketchbook." which provides over 50+ different brushes to use, the ability to use layers and adjust their transparency.
For the model, I traced it using a program called "Poseit" which allows me to pose a 3D simulated mannequin exactly how I wish. I used a combination of the following brushes:
- Hard Airbrush
- Airbrush
- Color Builder
- Glo Airbrush
- Dream Brush
I used 8 different custom colors and over 10 different layers. I cranked this out in an hour. I see _*ALL*_ the errors and I'm going insane. But, this is my first attempt at drawing this character using the technique I've practiced thus far. thoughts? Is it "My artwork" if I traced a mannequin and just observed a photo for where the lighting goes? Or is it considered a "trace"?
