Wendigo

Its night. I'm in a forest, filled with the sound of nothing. There's heaping gash in my side, as if a hawk grabbed me. My clothes are torn and bloody, and Fog blocks my view, I can only see about 5 feet. Its not a dream, as the gash in my side hurts and I'm definitely not comfortable in my bed. I walk forward. The crack of sticks and logs is like seeing the future, how exactly I will die. if I keep walking, I will meet their fate

As the trees close in, I start to feel something. Something that brought me here. Its uncanny and I know it Will rip and tear. I thought no more pain could have been possible but it was like claws pushes into my side. Then, its the sound. The sound like no other.
"KREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
I stumble backwards, hitting my head against... Flesh? A rabbit. Half eaten. Its black, no living eyes stare into my soul, one word echoing throughout my body.
"RUN"
