is it just because he asked (rudely) to be moderator in dark humour?

Short version: he asked for mod in cursedcomments because he wanted to delete comments on an image that somebody made about him announcing that his dog died. I said that would be mod abuse, no, and he quickly got pissed.
(Btw I’m sorry if that first part seemed confusing)
