“Loving thy neighbor” does not mean sitting around and letting you sin and go to Hell

John 1:17

Basically the Old Testament is invalid

There’s a whole study analyzing this

Basically, most of the laws in Leviticus only apply to Jews, because they would be nullified when the Messiah came. Jews don’t believe Jesus was the Messiah, so Leviticus still applies for them.

Most chapters in Leviticus begin with God saying something like, “Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say to them: ‘Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.” This therefore states that the following laws only apply to Israel, and Jesus later fulfilled these.

However, Leviticus 18 begins instead with, “You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices.” Implying that these rules are meant for all of humanity rather than solely Israel.

So theoretically only Jews are affected by the Old Testament laws

Yes I did, but that’s still in Leviticus… which Jesus said was invalid

He never said it was invalid, he simply “fulfilled” the law

Leviticus never said mixed fabrics or shrimp was immoral, but it did say homosexuality was immoral, and the morality never changed

Leviticus forbade it though, just like it forbids say gex.
Leviticus says sex before marriage is immoral.

So basically, you cant have 1 without the other.
You can’t keep some things from Leviticus and some things that aren’t from it.

Leviticus forbade the sexual laws from all nations, as 18:3 says, and condemned it as immoral

Leviticus only forbade most of the other stuff for Israel

Jesus fulfilled the Israelite law, he never changed morality

Regardless not everyone is religious. The person who made this post about the Bible not saying anything about gay people is wrong.
