When I saw the armor, I decried the chain mail over the eyes due to the obvious fact that the warrior adorning this abomination of protection severely restricts his or her vision, and thus makes him or her a shambling coffin.

SAME! I'm sure they wore some protective lining to cover their eyes. Okay I'm not sure.
