We were having a conversation in first hour with a homophobic friend and I suppose she didn’t entirely know how to word stuff. So she ended up saying something along the lines of, “If you became gay I would no longer associate with you.” Me and another friend who was in the conversation, we’re not exactly hiding the fact that we are very gay. So a lot of laughing ensued. It got cleared up to basically mean, “I don’t support gay marriage. Don’t try to change my mind.” She was willingly excluded from the gay water tower wedding later that day.
