And what do they think warrants this price? Better graphics? I don't get it. Games should be priced by gameplay, not graphics. Reminds me of this thought I have

Peppino and his Pizzeria is like an indie game developer with his game (quality over quantity)
and Pizzaface/Pizzahead as a AAA company with mediocre games (quantity over quality), and eventually, Peppino overtakes the Pizza Tower and demolishes it and wins.
Same thing with indie games dominating over the AAA industries.
AAA companies killed themselves and indie game devs just nailed their coffin.

but THAT'S just a theory...
