How do you make them/ where do you get the metal?

I have a woodshop already so i have all the tools i need. I mostly use an angle grinder and a benchtop belt sander with the appropriate belts for metal, i use cubic zirconia grit. and a buffing wheel on my bench grinder. sometimes I buy my metal online. 10:95 pre aneild (softened up) high carbon steel 1.1/2 by 12 inches. most of the time I repurpose old saw blades, lawn mower blades and files and such. I do very little forging i mostly just cut out and grind to shape being careful not to overheat the steel and take out the hardness. Now the steel I buy I have to quench it when im done cutting it out to harden it.

No I order high carbon 10:95 steel online. Or most often I repurpose old saw blades, files, lawnmower blades things like that.

Ok cool
I have a woodworking and metal shop at school I might make something like that
Any tips?

Yes start off with good hard steel like a file or lawn mower blade. be very careful not to let it get too hot when you are cutting it out or grinding it if it turns blue you let it get too hot. just dip it in water now and then to keep it cool. if it does turn blue all is not lost it just won't be as hard.
