NEW WoF ROLE PLAY, GO! (Comment which place you would like to start, pretty much the only difference is who’s POV you start from

Queen Gemstone: (in my AU she becomes queen instead of Snowfall. Also she is the most powerful descendant of Prince Arctic. Pov. 2) Hey! Stop it!

(This is before the role play you already started, so some stuff may seem weird, but I’ll put what happened before you arrived here anyways)

Stormbringer and Blizzard were resting together outside of town. Stormbringer had his wing tucked around Blizzard. Both of them were napping together in sun, they seemed to be happy. Suddenly another icewing nearly landed on top of them and pulled Blizzard away, who looked surprised. Stormbringer backed up on instinct as he also woke up startled.

“Crystal?! What are you doing!?”

“What are you doing with a Nightwing?!”

Stormbringer spun around but already, a dagger was pointed at him. He had to protect Blizzard from this crazy icewing.

“Blizzard are you ok?”

“For now, Stormbringer.”

The three stood at a stand-off, you arrived shortly after these events.

Gemstone: I said, Stop. It. *she becomes aggressive*

*torn between protecting her sister and her allegiance to the icewing kingdom, she chooses to listen to you and hope you’ll sort the two of them out. Crystal sheathed her ancient looking dagger*

Crystal: sorry Queen.. I just wanted to protect my sister.

*you see a sandwing a rainwing running at the group*

The rainwing: oh Pyrrhia, what happened?

*She looks at her* Why were you attacking your sister?

Crystal: I was protecting her from the nightwing! I didn’t know if he was holding her captive or not.

(The dagger was drawn at the nightwing)

Blizzard: this is the first time I see you in two years and this is the welcome I get apparently.

The sandwing: Cascade can you find everyone else?

Cascade: how about you do that Mirage, I’ll stay here.

*The sandwing nods and takes to the sky, flying as fast as he could to find the rest of his friends*

Gemstone: He is just wrapping his wing around her. *Corruptnight lands beside her and sits with her. After a while he wraps his wing around her.*

Crystal: My sister has been missing for two years! You expect me not to try to protect her?

Blizzard: you call that protecting me?! You put me in more danger by doing that!

Crystal: I didn’t know if you were a hostage or something was wrong!

Blizzard: you need to get a better definition of a hostage, ice brain!

Crystal: Don’t speak like that in front of the queen!

Blizzard: I don’t care if I was in front of all of the queens! You nearly killed my friend!

*more dragons seem to be coming. You see the sandwing coming back with more friends*

*the rainwing inched closer to the Nightwing and the icewing defending him. The rainwing whispered something to the Nightwing. The Nightwing whispered something back*

Gemstone: I see that you were misunderstood. Next time, try to figure it out first before charging. You are forgiven.

Blizzard: maybe by you, but I don’t think I could ever forgive you for this. *She turns her back on Crystal* *harsh tone* It was good to see you but not like this. I think you should stay away for a while. *she began walking back to Stormbringer*

Crystal: wha- BLIZZARD! *thinking: “I can’t her, not now!” She tried to follow her but then stopped herself*

Blizzard: you heard me.

*the other dragons got there just now, there appeared to be 3 seawings, two hybrid seawing/mudwings, 1 mudwing, and a skywing*

The sandwing: what just happened?

The rainwing: apparently that icewing attacked Blizzard and Stormbringer.

*now Stormbringer and Blizzard were having a private conversation, Blizzard put one talon on Stormbringer’s cheek in a comforting way, after she made sure he was okay, the two now began talking about something else, presumably Crystal given how Blizzard was glaring at her. Crystal then turned to take off when she was stopped by a Nightwing who just descended out of the sky from nowhere and stopped her*

Crystal: huh-?! You again?

The strange Nightwing: … I take it you’ve met my brother. *looking at Blizzard and Stormbringer* and I’m assuming you attempted what I’ve tried to do multiple times…

Crystal: what do you mean?

The strange Nightwing: separating them. I had the same mistrust for your tribe then.. they’ve protected each other for a long time… give them a chance.

*Crystal looked like she was thinking about it*

Gemstone: *she glances at Corruptnight. She whispers something to him* I... Don't think we should tell them yet. *she glances at the strange NightWing*

(Should say “I can’t lose her, not now!” Must have accidentally deleted a word lmao)

(Happened to me)

Blizzard: oh I remember that now.

Stormbringer: what did Icicle do? I heard she just left Jade Academy and the got exiled or something for chasing someone. I never went there if you’re wondering, I may have dropped in the library to read occasionally.

Blizzard: that’s actually how I learned about the whole Darkstalker legend in the first place. He took a scroll and I smuggled it just outside the academy where we read it.

Stormbringer: usually I’m still inside when I read something, I just hide from everyone else since I’m not a student.

*Gemstone looks at them weirdly but then focuses her attention on her mate*

(I probably should have told you Blizzard’s backstory. She knows some traditions and things about Icewings, but not as much as a normal icewing. There is a reason she doesn’t act like a typical icewing)

The skywing: hey, Quick-Claws and Scrollworm, you coming?

Blizzard: yep.

Stormbringer: would you mind not calling us those in front of a queen, drill sergeant? *thinking: “well I have been reading a lot with Blizzard lately.”*

The skywing: if you stop calling me drill sergeant, then sure.

Stormbringer: alright, now you’re asking too much *he laughs*.

*the skywing rolled her eyes and grinned*

*Crystal looked confused on why Blizzard was just called Quick-Claws*

Cascade: I’m glad you two are ok. Is that true about the Diamond Trial? And I thought the nightwings had the worst punishments.

Stormbringer; I think I’d rather be thrown in lava than sit frozen for eternity. Wouldn’t that drive a dragon insane?

Gemstone: *flies up to the place of the meeting with Corruptnight*

*that’s not for a few days yet*

*most of the dragons walked back towards Sanctuary in the sunset, the strange Nightwing, however, stayed behind. One of the seawings noticed and turned around*

The larger seawing: why don’t you come with us as well?

The strange Nightwing: no, no. My presence could make things worse again.

The larger seawing; eh.. how?

The strange nightwing: … you’re right. Fine, I’ll join you. *she began walking to join the seawing* What’s your name?

The larger seawing: Barracuda. Yours?

The strange nightwing: Seerstriker.

*the two began to have a conversation. They slowly began to catch up with the other group*

*my bad*

*Gemstone heads to the part of Sanctuary that is closest to the north.*

*the group you’ve just met walks back into Sanctuary, the conversation seemed to be tense given what just happened, the two Icewings didn’t seem to want to talk to initially. However, they began to talk as they entered Sanctuary, Stormbringer joined in, and the three began to open up more. The Icewings began to trust each other again, the conversation grew less tense as they walked through Sanctuary. They seemed to have found some lodging in the village but you have no idea where they went.*

Blizzard: but would that make him your brother’s kid.

Stormbringer: I believe this is a Stonemover type situation *he said suddenly to Blizzard*.

Blizzard: no idea who that is.

Stormbringer; he went missing during the war making tunnels that connected the Nightwing island and the sand kingdom with the rainwing rainforest. I heard the dragonets of destiny found him near Jade Mountain Academy again.

*Blizzard just shrugs. All of this seemed new to her or outside of her knowledge on the war*

*everyone seemed to be distracted with interrogating Crystal, besides the strange Nightwing who was standing alone behind them all*

Corruptnight: You could say in a way that I am related to stonemover, but I actually came from Darkstalker, not Whiteout. (In my AU Darkstalker had children with Clearsight before he was locked away)

Stormbringer: makes sense.

Blizzard: …

Corruptnight: Also, since you were wondering, no. We are not related because we are too far apart in tribes. One of whiteouts children started an IceWing bloodline while Darkstalker's children started an NightWing bloodline.

Stormbringer: there we go.

Blizzard: so you’re the only animuses to appear in either tribe for a while, besides this Stonemover Stormbringer mentioned?

Gemstone: Yes. Stonemover is only an animus because he descended from Whiteout.

Blizzard: well, I guess all the animuses went separate ways or weren’t discovered in the Icewings until later then.

Gemstone: Actually. Prince Arctic was the last IceWing animus before me.

Blizzard: actually that’s probably more accurate. Animus dragons are pretty rare.

Gemstone: *she intertwines her tail with Corruptnights and Corruptnight puts his wing around her* There actually was a lot in the IceWing tribe.

Gemstone: It's okay. You can say it. I don't mind. He actually deserved it though. He tried to get Whiteout killed.

(I haven’t read winglets or legends so I won’t have info here, all I know is Darkstalker had a sibling named Whiteout lmao)

Stormbringer: he tried to kill his own daughter?

Blizzard: I don’t think that was in the scroll you gave me.

Gemstone: Yes actually. I removed all evidence of that in every scroll except one. What do you think those black lines are over words? *she hands them a scroll that doesn't have those marks*

*Stormbringer reads the scroll*

Stormbringer: I’ll take your word for it. *looks like he doesn’t want to make you angry. A quick glance in his mind would tell you he would like more evidence than a scroll that could have been written to include this portion*

Blizzard: *quickly changing the subject* what ever happened to Foeslayer? That was his (Darkstalker’s) mother, right?

Gemstone: She was captured by Queen Diamond and imprisoned for eternity in the Diamond Trial.
Corruptnight: And she didn't hand-write the scroll. *he narrows his eyes to Stormbringer*

*Stormbringer was a bit shocked you knew what he was thinking, he didn’t seem to mad or anything about it though.*

Blizzard: so what is the Diamond Trial exactly?

Stormbringer: …… you really don’t know a lot about your tribe, do you? *he chuckles*

Blizzard: I don’t.

Stormbringer: that’s okay, *their tail intertwined with each others* we can learn together.

*Crystal breaks off to intervene temporarily*

Crystal: the Diamond Trial is a ritual that would take you from the last circle to the top of the wall upon completion. There is a catch, two dragons go to complete the trial, only one can return.

*Blizzard still looked confused. She clearly had heard of it before, but she didn’t know what it actually was*

Gemstone: Basically they are handed two staffs and someones stabs Foeslayers body and fight her and freeze her again with the staff. The two dragons battle and the first one to get frozen stays down there for the rest of eternity. The two people who go in is the last ranked person in the seventh circle and the top person in the first circle.

Corruptnight: And if you were wondering, I do read minds and see the future

Blizzard: *she genuinely looks disgusted at that thought. She didn’t like the thought of potentially fighting someone to their eternal imprisonment. Even death would be better at that point* thank the ice spirits my family wasn’t a noble one.

Stormbringer: wait, wasn’t Foeslayer spotted at Jade Mountain Academy too? Is no-one going to free the rest of the frozen dragons now that the trial doesn’t exist? *he looked genuinely concerned*

Crystal: I don’t know, probably not.

The skywing: hey we weren’t finished, Crystal!

*Crystal turned back around to continue her grueling conversation*

Gemstone: Yes. She was because Winter let her escape. He calls himself an IceWing. *she scoffs* disgrace to the royal family, him and Icicle

—— Between Blizzard and Stormbringer ——

Blizzard: .. alright, alright, fine. *she sighs* I just don’t want you to get hurt. *she was nervous*

Stormbringer: I’m not going to get hurt. Don’t worry. *their tails Intertwined, he hoped to give Blizzard more confidence*

—— everyone again ——

*Blizzard sighs again, then turns back to Crystal*

Blizzard: Crystal, apologize to Stormbringer.

*Crystal was already turning around*

Crystal: I was just about to do that. I’m truly sorry for what I have done. It was rash, and I wasn’t really thinking. I just saw my sister for the first time in two years after she disappeared. When I was young, I was taught that the nightwings would do anything in their power to kill and torture Icewings. With Darkstalker running around recently, I feared the worst for my tribe. When I saw you with my sister, I let my anger and fear take control. I wasn’t thinking when I ripped my sister away from you, nightwing. I apologize for my—

Stormbringer: apology accepted. *he smiled*

The three seawings at the same time: huh?

*most of the group looked surprised that Crystal had even apologized, but the fact Stormbringer accepted it so quickly made it more surprising to them*

Crystal: wait, I wasn’t finished..

Stormbringer: you don’t need to. I understand why you made the decision. You wanted to protect her, same as I do. I might have made the same decision if I was you. *he chuckled a little*

Blizzard: …

*Stormbringer and Blizzard looked at each other for a second, then Stormbringer turned back to Crystal*

Stormbringer: why don’t you join us for a while so we can get to know each other better?

Blizzard: *she nodded* I believe I was a little too harsh when I said I didn’t want to see you again, I think it would be nice to catch up once we’re all calm.

The skywing: um.. Stormbringer, are you sure about this?

One of the hybrids (F): she literally just tried to kill you.

*nobody notices but Gemstone's and Corruptnight's tails intertwine*
Gemstone: *to Blizzard in private* what are your thoughts on two-tribe relationships?

Blizzard; *she noticed Corruptnight next to you but not your tails* *to you alone* it’s not me you should be worried about. I didn’t have a traditional upbringing. My sister did. (If you want more info on Blizzard’s backstory, than you can ask, it’s quite lengthy though)

Stormbringer: it will be fine.

Crystal: yeah. I think catching up with the two of you is a better course of action.

*she sighs in relief* It's going to be hard to tell the Tribe. Especially since they have been enemies for most of eternity.

Blizzard: *she chuckles* I mean, yeah. I guess most of the tribe might not take it well, but I believe in time, we will learn to trust each other again. Especially now that Darkstalker is gone.

Gemstone: About that... Do you know Prince Arctic?

Blizzard: I thought he died years ago, but what do I know? I only learned the full Darkstalker legend a couple months ago. I didn’t even know who the dragon really was initially.

Gemstone: I am his heir. How do you think I am an animus?

Blizzard: good point. The would be the only way you were an icewing animus. (Sorry I haven’t been responding, I’ve been traveling and driving a lot the past few days as well as touring colleges)

Gemstone: How else? Anyway, Corruptnight here is a descendant of Darkstalker. (They are not related though. Corruptnight is my boyfriends OC and he wanted it to be an animus so... Yeah)
