Stormbringer and Blizzard were resting together outside of town. Stormbringer had his wing tucked around Blizzard. Both of them were napping together in sun, they seemed to be happy. Suddenly another icewing nearly landed on top of them and pulled Blizzard away, who looked surprised. Stormbringer backed up on instinct as he also woke up startled.

“Crystal?! What are you doing!?”

“What are you doing with a Nightwing?!”

Stormbringer spun around but already, a dagger was pointed at him. He had to protect Blizzard from this crazy icewing.

“Blizzard are you ok?”

“For now, Stormbringer.”

The three stood at a stand-off, this is when you saw them.

(I'm going to use a different oc if you dont mind, there name is passion fruit and they are a rainwing just for some detail. if you dont want me to add an oc that is completely fine by me :})

Stormbringer: Blizzard are you ok?!

Blizzard: I’m worried about you right now.

*the icewing with the dagger looked ready to lunge at the Nightwing if he so much dared to move*

???: Blizzard, you’re not hurt right? What’s wrong with you? Why are you with a pathetic excuse for a dragon *nearly outright growling*?

Blizzard: Crystal, this is the first time I see you in two years and you’re mad I was resting with Stormbringer? *they looked similar, one of the only distances were their age and height. The armored icewing must have been Crystal*

Crystal: you know by now that nightwings are our enemies and can NOT be trusted! You’ve survived the scorpion den and you know only another icewing could be trusted! Oh Pyrrhia, what would mom and dad think?

Passionfruit- *walks over to them in an anxious manner* What's going on!?

Crystal: Stay out of this you oversized, lazy chameleon.

*Stormbringer would have defended you but fear that Crystal would kill him for just about anything kept him from doing that. He remained paralyzed, he felt the dagger on the underside of his snout. That thing looked ancient, it’s a wonder it’s still sharp*

Blizzard: hey, ice brain, can’t you see we’re friends?

Crystal: friends with a Nightwing? You really have gone crazy. Don’t worry, I’m here to protect you now.

*you could tell both Crystal and Stormbringer were worried about Blizzard and that Crystal was purely acting on the teachings and traditions of Icewings, she thought Stormbringer was eventually going to kill Blizzard or tricked her in someway. All Stormbringer saw was a crazy icewing about to kill him for just being friends with Blizzard. In his panicked state, he couldn’t control his mind reading*

Stormbringer: *he began speaking in a panicked tone* it’s true, we are friends. Let me—

Crystal: it can’t be true. We are sworn enemies. You may have fooled her, but not me!

?????: BLIZZARD! *a sandwing and another rainwing ran up from behind you*

Crystal: I said this doesn’t concern you, now lea— oh great, it’s this moron again.

Mirage: well someone’s happy to see me.

Stormbringer: not the time Mirage.

Cascade: what the-… how do you know who she is?

Mirage: I’m honestly not sure how to—

Crystal: both Blizzard and this sand snorter grew up the scorpion den. Does that satisfy your question? Unless you want to find out what happens when you mess with the wrong icewing, I suggest you all leave.

*Cascade stood confused, how could she not have guessed sooner?*

Mirage: Cascade, go find the others, I’ll handle this.

*the rainwing nodded and took off

Blizzard: Crystal, it’s great to see you after two years, but not like this.

Crystal: He’s a Nightwing! He could have killed you!

Mirage: They’ve been friends for a while. Stormbringer wouldn’t hurt her. And Blizzard wouldn’t hurt him.

Crystal: *ignoring Mirage* is this some kind of joke to you?

Passionfruit- I'm assuming you name is crystal...SHUT UP! and listen to what Mirage is saying...

Passionfruit- this is getting confusing...

Crystal: I heard him! *if she was a rainwing, you know her scales would be ranging through all kinds of reds now. She looked ready to freeze everyone there and take off with Blizzard* Blizzard, listen to me. He’s a bad influence on you, just come back to the icewing kingdom with me. You’ll be safe.

Blizzard: I’m safe with Stormbringer.

Mirage: the two have each other’s backs. Stormbringer and Blizzard often hunt together. They also stay up late watching the stars together.

Crystal: I highly doubt that. Blizzard, what has he done to you? What has he done with your brain?

Blizzard: absolutely nothing, I’ve made the decision to trust him on my own.

Crystal: I don’t think so. There’s something wrong with you. He must have some animus enchanted item on him or something that made you this way.

Stormbringer: I can assure you I don’t. I’ve never once had an animus touched object. *he throws his bag towards Crystal* You can check it if you want to.

Passionfruit- can everyone calm down? definitely including you crystal.

(That part was wacky, it probably should have happened much later, I just had the idea and wrote down dialogue. Do you mind if I actually edit that part out and add something else?)

Cascade: tell me about it. *she was back with two seawings*

Mirage: the rainwing’s right, you need to calm down.

Blizzard: he has no animus touched items Crystal. I would definitely know if he did—

Crystal: he’s manipulated you! I don’t know how but he’s done it.

Blizzard: you haven’t even met Stormbringer!

Crystal: he’s a Nightwing, he’s a threat to you and all Icewings. He’s obviously manipulating you in some way?

Stormbringer: and why would I do that?

Crystal: probably to get information to invade the ice kingdom!

Blizzard: oh great ice spirits, you can’t be serious.

Crystal: WHY ELSE WERE YOU MISSING IN ACTION FOR TWO YEARS?!

Blizzard: one year actually. And I can explain.

Stormbringer: that doesn’t make sense. Look, I know this stupid tribe rivalry thing is probably causing your panic. Calm down, and we can talk about this.

*the standoff continued, the dagger was pushed closer to his neck, the other rainwing arrived with two seawings*

Cascade: things have gotten a bit out of talon.

Barracuda: what in Pyrrhia is going on?

Cascade: that’s what I’m asking.

Passionfruit- ok so this icewing is acting like a mosquito and wont stop bothering the nightwing because of the stupid rivalry, and the other icewing is trying to get them to stop...*scales begin to change with some orange*

Cascade: *her scales were turning red seeing Stormbringer in more danger* stop this at once!

Crystal: didn’t I tell all of you to leave?

Cascade: why would I leave, you’re hurting my friends!

Crystal: you’re telling me you’re friends with a dragon who’s tribe just tried to wipe yours out and one who he’s supposed to be enemies with who’s infinitely smarter than both of you and should know better? Please.

Cascade: well she appears to be smarter than you given how you’re acting right now.

*this made Crystal extremely angry, but she dare not waste her breath on a pathetic rainwing*

Barracuda: congratulations, we’ve established that we’re all idiots here, great. Now I suggest you let him go before this gets messy.

Crystal: you know what, I was feeling more generous before you sea slugs showed up. I have no quarrel with you, just this Nightwing. He’s manipulated her.

Mirage: I don’t think you’re giving Blizzard enough credit. She would know if she was being manipulated.

Crystal: how would I know that he hasn’t taken her prisoner for two years?!?!

*Abyss was about to speak up when he was interrupted by Blizzard herself*

Blizzard; because I went missing in the ocean. Remember that battle we fought at on the coast before the great cliff? You remember how I went missing that day? If I was taken prisoner, it would have been the skywings.

Crystal: he must have stolen you from them.

Stormbringer: even I wouldn’t have gotten involved then, I would have been in the rainforest minding my own business because I wouldn’t have ever crossed paths with her.

Crystal: you mean gathering information to invade another tribe’s territory? *this made the red on Cascade’s scales flair up*

Blizzard: listen to me, he isn’t an enemy. He’s my friend. He wouldn’t do anything you have said he would do. At this point I think your just looking for a reason to kill him because we have given you multiple LOGICAL arguments that he would never hurt me or do anything you have said he’s done.

Passionfruit- I agree with the icewing, you just want a reason to kill the poor nightwing and they haven't done anything to you! *scales begin to have a little bit of red and more orange*

*Crystal still doesn’t back down, more dragons are running towards you the and you all begin to attract attention to yourselves, despite being on the far outskirts of Sanctuary*

*Crystal looks like she’s thinking about what she could do next, maybe her next argument*

Abyss: if you’re wondering why Blizzard was gone for two years.. that was my fault.

*Crystal looks him she seems to recognize him*

Crystal: … were you the dragon I saw pulling Icewings out of the water that battle?

Abyss: yes.. I pulled Blizzard out of the water, the problem was that I pulled her out onto an iceberg and didn’t realize it. I tried to save every dragon I could, when I looked back and saw Blizzard on the iceberg now halfway out to sea. I defended up swimming after it and staying with her until she woke up since I didn’t think I could carry her back to the mainland alone and I didn’t want to be captured and freeze to death. By the time she woke up, we could barely see the coastline, and she wasn’t in any condition to fly.

Crystal: thank you.. if I could—

Abyss: she already has returned the favor by the way.

Crystal: so what is she doing with this abomination *referring to Stormbringer*?

Mirage: I thought you were actually going to let Stormbringer go for a second.

Crystal: *she gave him this “what-in-pyrrhia-are-you-on” look* answer it and I’ll consider it.

Abyss: we got lucky, we floated around the ocean for a year. We ended up landing on the other side of skywing territory, we were lucky the iceberg didn’t melt all the way until then. That’s when we both met Stormbringer, Cascade, and Mirage, just about a month before the war officially ended.

Crystal: she didn’t try to come back?

Abyss: she did after the war. But she ended up coming back to us after a week.

Crystal: why not before it ended?

Blizzard: we were technically captured but we ended up hiding since I didn’t think I could make it across the mountains without being spotted by a patrol and Abyss wasn’t sure about going back after he heard about the bombing of the seawing summer palace.

Passionfruit- poor seawings....

Crystal: what do you mean we were captured?! *she began glaring at Stormbringer again, luckily another dragon spoke up*

Inferna: Blizzard and Stormbringer, are you— what the—.

Barracuda: hey, look who’s late.

Inferna: sorry, I was on the other side of town. *they were a skywing next to a mudwing/seawing hybrid*

*another seawing spoke up behind you*

Misty: and I got lost.

Inferna: hey, icewing, drop the dagger.

Crystal: make me.

Blizzard: Inferna, explain to them how I was “technically captured.” I shouldn’t have worded it that way but my sister is about to kill Stormbringer, make it quick.

Inferna: *she looked confused for a second* you mean when you got off the iceberg with Ivy and Abyss?

Blizzard: yes.

Inferna: yeah that was me, I said they were being “held prisoner” until the war ended. Don’t worry, I never took Blizzard anywhere near the arena. I’m pretty much a deserter, even though it’s because I stopped receiving orders when I was sent to patrol the coast.

Crystal: *she was already looking at the skywing with rage and hatred for their entire tribe. The fact she saw a hybrid next to them made it worse, she couldn’t talk bad about the skywing since she did spare Blizzard, but she could about everyone else* Blizzard, I knew these dragons were a bad influence on you the moment I saw them. Except for that seawing who pulled you out of the water, he has my gratitude. And of all the tribes and dragons you could have been captured by, A SKYWING?!

Inferna: I didn’t actually capture Blizzard since I never took her back to the army. That’s just how we joked about that moment. I didn’t let her go because she probably would have been killed. It’s nice to see her sister looking out for her. *pretty much trying to kill Crystal with kindness, this was different than her normal approach, and you could tell by her sometimes hesitating or stuttering when speaking. She seemed to be a nice dragon, though Crystal looked at her with rage and disgust, she turned back towards Stormbringer* what’s your deal with Stormbringer, Blizzard’s sister?

*Crystal didn’t answer for some reason*

Passion fruit- hmmm

Inferna: I didn’t ask the question to be ignored..

Crystal: I think know damn well what it is. *she hissed, her tone was actually harsher towards Inferna*

Mudslide: I think you should calm down. We shouldn’t be fighting each other over this. Just put the dagger down and we can talk.

Crystal: I’m not stupid, you’ll kill me.

Mirage: stupid? No. Paranoid? Yeah, let’s talk this out.

Passion fruit- I agree with them, you need to calm down so we can talk about it.

Crystal: what I need is to take my sister back to my kingdom where she will be safe!

Blizzard: we’ve gone over this, I’m already safe.

Crystal: not with this vile creature around. *she jabbed Stormbringer’s neck with the flat of the dagger and he staggered backwards*

Cascade: STOP! *the dark red in her scales was starting to flair up*

Stormbringer: it’s ok Cascade, I’m fine still.

Mirage: what are you doing?!

Crystal: protecting my sister from the rest of you! Especially him! *she glared at Stormbringer for the third time*

Barracuda: that’s not necessary, we haven’t done anything to her.

Abyss: Stormbringer, is there another motive for this?

*Stormbringer shakes his head*

Stormbringer: Crystal, that’s your name right? it’s ok. We were protecting her as well, that’s why she never went back to the ice kingdom until later. Blizzard’s the reason I’m alive right now, I would give my life to protect her, and I know you would do the same. Please, let me go.

*Looks like Crystal is actually starting to consider it now, but she doesn’t let him go yet*

Passionfruit- Everyone here is safe especially blizzard, so there is nothing to worry about.

another Nightwing came down from the mountains, landing behind Stormbringer*

???: you again?

Blizzard: what are you doing here Seerstriker?

Seerstriker: protecting my brother.

Crystal: that’s your brother? *she said skeptically*

Seerstriker: yes. I tried to get him away from that icewing behind you a few times.

Stormbringer: and Cascade.

Seerstriker: and I forgot about your rainwing friend. But that’s not important right now.

Crystal: what’s your point?

Seerstriker: he gave himself up to save Blizzard from me. Then she saved Stormbringer, they trust each other, and I see that now. And I’m ok with it, it took a little getting used to, but it’s fine.

Mirage: you listened to her, but not me?!

Crystal: …

Mudslide: well this is interesting.

Bedrock: wasn’t expecting a Nightwing to be helping an icewing.

Coelacanth: shush, Bedrock.

*Crystal actually forcing herself to think for a moment now. She takes her time. Everyone waits in suspense*

Passionfruit- you going to make a decision or not?

*Stormbringer and Crystal stare at each other for the longest time, like they were engaged in some mental conversation, finally Crystal’s expression begins to soften*

Crystal: …

Mirage: have you made up your mind?

*Crystal pulls her dagger back and sheathed it, but before Stormbringer could get away she grabbed him and pulled him close to her, there was a brief exchange between them. Only the two nightwings and Icewings heard it, Stormbringer and Blizzard were finally let go. They both ran towards each other and hugged one another, they were overjoyed that they were both safe now, the other dragons were already swarming them and asking questions and checking on Blizzard and Stormbringer to make sure they were ok, except Seerstriker and Crystal. They stayed away from the group while they made sure both dragons were ok.*

Crytal: what would my parents think of this?

Seerstriker; probably nothing nearly as bad as my father would.

Blizzard: that was a close one.

Inferna: nothing happened, right? None of you are hurt?

Stormbringer: I’m fine.

Mirage; I don’t think I’ve seen her ready to kill someone that quickly.

Coelacanth: Mirage, how do you know that other icewing?

Mirage; that is a long story for later.

(I just realized I do have another icewing/skywing oc called Aurora I completely forgot about who was meant to be helping Crystal find Blizzard, Crystal doesn’t know she’s half skywing, they’ll be mentioned next role play I guess)

Mudslide: I think so.. slight abrasions to Blizzard from that other icewing’s grip and she’s alright. Stormbringer can I see your neck area?

*Stormbringer tilted his head up*

Stormbringer: I think I’m fine.

Mudslide: you have a small cut on your throat from the dagger, nothing serious right now.

Inferna: that dagger looked thousands of years old, how was dot still sharp?

Mudslide: well, you can ask the icewing.

Crystal: .. so this feels awkward again.

Seerstriker: well, that’s probably the worst greeting I’ve ever seen a dragon give to their sister. *she laughed it off*

Passionfruit- definitely the worst Blister, Blaze, and Burn would greet each other better than that.

Seerstriker: you should apologize.

Crystal: for a rational fear that he was hurting her?

Seerstriker: I had the same fears as you when I saw them together, though I was more focused on trying to get Stormbringer to become the leader we needed at the time. I’ve realized that dream is far out of my reach now.

Crystal: *she sighs* I can’t believe I’m taking advice from a Nightwing. *she walks over to the group*

Passionfruit- *watches Crystal walk over with an unamused look on her face*

*most of the dragons move closer together so Crystal can’t get by and hurt Stormbringer or Blizzard, but she squeezes through, shoving most of them out of the way.*

Blizzard: huh?

Crystal: *she takes a deep breath* I would like to apologize for attacking you, Nightwing. It was very rash of me, and I’m sorry Blizzard, for trying to separate you from your friends. *she stuttered before continuing* I can’t make it up to you, but at the very least I can try not to do it again. Since the end of the war I have been frantically looking for you up and down the continent. You could imagine the panic I had when I saw you with a Nightwing. And to you, nightwing.. what I had assumed you have done seems unreasonable since you were together for a year, if everyone here is to be believed. I was so worried for Blizzard that I only thought about protecting her, no matter what you have done to her or what the cost would be.

*Stormbringer takes a second to process this*

Stormbringer: I understand why you attacked me, and I’m sure the whole Darkstalker incident didn’t help either. I think your reasoning is valid, you haven’t seen her in two years and I’m sure seeing Blizzard with a dragon from a rival tribe wasn’t great. You were worried for her, I understand.

Blizzard: you could have just asked questions, that would have been better. But I can see why you would think this way.

Crystal: I wasn’t thinking. I just saw you with him and I assumed something was very wrong. It’s not really an excuse for such an incident. I’m just glad you’re ok. *she hugs her sister, even though Blizzard tries to resist* it’s been so long. I’m sorry, I’ve lost my judgement there. *she pulled Stormbringer in as well, he didn’t resist much*

Passionfruit- Yay! *Scales turn a bright shade of yellow*

*Crystal got up and walked away from the confused dragons, they were quickly surrounded by the other dragons again they began talking with the group again*

Seerstriker: you feel better about it?

Crystal: shut up Nightwing.

Seerstriker: I think you do, I knew you had a soft side

Crystal: yeah, you never saw that.

Seerstriker: ha, sure I didn’t.

Blizzard: Stormbringer, we should patch that cut up for now.

Stormbringer: I’ll be fine.

*inferna was already rolling out some bandages from her bag, she applied a small one to Stormbringer’s cut*

Mudslide: you really are prepared for every situation, were you like a combat medic or something?

Inferna; forward scout before being moved to patrol. I always had some medical supplies with me incase something happened. I’m not trained though. This should help for now.

Stormbringer: uh.. thanks.

Cascade: you guys are alright? *she had green and like in her scales since she saw Stormbringer being threatened but now they are much more prominent* what did she say to you?

Stormbringer: yes I’m fine. She was pretty much just telling me how worried she was for her sister.

Cascade: really?

Stormbringer: yep.

Passionfruit- yeah I was there as well. Quite interesting.

Cascade: it was strange. I didn’t think an icewing would act like that, and then apologize for it.

Blizzard: wait, inferna, you didn’t need to give him bandages. Here. *she handed Stormbringer her ring, he tried to refuse it for some reason*

Misty: especially due to the fact that nightwings and Icewings hate each other. I’m surprised she didn’t just kill you.

Stormbringer: she didn’t want to, she was more happy that Blizzard didn’t appear to be hurt. *Blizzard slipped the ring onto his talon when he wasn’t paying attention.*

Blizzard: she’s gonna freak out when I explained what happened over the last year.

Inferna; I can already imagine that storm coming.

Stormbringer: I’ve just thought of something…

*Crystal was preparing to leave*

Seerstriker: leaving so soon?

Crystal: yes, unfortunately I have better things to do, and she appears to be in good talons. *she looks back at the group* That, and she probably doesn’t want me near her after what just happened.

Seerstriker: you can’t let that get in your way.

Crystal: it’s the nice thing to do.

Seerstriker: how about you try to make up for what you did instead of running away from your problems.

Crystal: my problems are in the ice kingdom.I can rest knowing my sister is alive and well. *she was about to leave that annoying Nightwing behind for good. She spread her wings to take flight when suddenly she heard the other nightwing’s voice*

Stormbringer: Crystal, you want to stay with us for a while?

Crystal: huh?

Blizzard: it just occurred to me we have some catching up to do.

Seerstriker: … well..? *she grinned*

Crystal: .. yeah, sure. *the sudden question caught her off guard. She walked back over to the group*

Passionfruit- FAMILY REUNION!

Cascade: are you sure about this Stormbringer?

Mudslide: she literally just tried to kill you.

Mirage: Stormbringer, I don’t think that’s such a great idea right now.

Stormbringer: guys, relax. We’ll be fine.

Passionfruit- yeah, you will be fine.

Crystal: well I’m glad someone has faith in me.

*Mudslide starts to understand why Stormbringer and Blizzard asked for Crystal to stay*

Mudslide: well.. I mean you were a bit aggressive just now. We are a little concerned with their safety and ours.

Blizzard: trust us, we’ll be okay.

Crystal: don’t worry, I won’t hurt anyone unless it’s self defense.

Passionfruit- sounds reasonable.

Inferna: as long as we don’t get into much trouble, we should be ok. *She and Mudslide were beginning to side with Blizzard and Stormbringer*

Cascade: … Mirage?

Mirage: lI’m worried about the fighting that might be caused by the tribe rivalries. However, Crystal doesn’t look as angry with Stormbringer anymore, so I’m willing to give her a chance..

Barracuda; I think this family reunion thing should be happy for the both of you, I’ll take the other rainwing’s advice.

Crystal: thank you.

Passionfruit- yay!

*you all began walking back towards Sanctuary, Crystal, Blizzard, and Stormbringer were talking about what had happened to each other during the last two years of the war. Cascade kept a close eye on Crystal, she looked pretty defensive about both Stormbringer and Blizzard. Inferna and Mudslide were looking over as well incase a fight started again, but they were talking with the other mudwings and trying to convince Mirage to tell them how he already knew Crystal. Abyss occasionally chimed in on Crystal and Blizzard’s conversation, even though he’s not normally that social. Noticeably though, Seerstriker was missing, and Barracuda had stopped*

*Alone* …

Barracuda: you want to join us as well?

Seerstriker; oh know I couldn’t. I should go back to the rainwing kingdom.

Barracuda: sounds like you hate it there.

Seerstriker: it’s hard to get used to a non-Nightwing queen.

Barracuda: why don’t you join us for a few days? You might as well.

Seerstriker: *she contemplates the offer* alright. I will.

*Barracuda and Seerstriker begin to catch up with the group, talking along the way*
