Jenna: hello there

Septimus: *He readjusts his grip and prepares for her to strike*

Jenna: *swings at him yet again*

Septimus: *He parries and launches another blow*

Jenna:*duck*

Septimus: *He unleashes a front kick to make some space*

Jenna: agh!

Septimus: "Do you forfeit or shall I continue?"

Jenna: I'll keep fighting until I'm dead

Septimus: "You have my respect."
*He charges towards her and swings a left hook at her stomach, then stabs her in the lung with his spear*

Jenna: *in a lot of pain but continues to fight him while bleeding uncontrollably*

Septimus: *He grabs her body and sighs, dragging it across the floor*

Jenna: boo! *She didn't move"

Septimus: "I am not playing around."
*His spear's flames burned brighter than ever before*

Jenna: ...

Septimus: *He let go of her and slammed his spear into the ground next to her*

Jenna: ...
(She doesn't even flinch anymore lol)

Septimus: "I'm not letting you free this time."

Jenna:*...*

Septimus: *He kicked her, making sure not to be too aggressive*

Jenna: ...

Septimus: "No more chatting."
*He readied himself*

Jenna:*same*

Septimus: *He quickly attacked*

Jenna:*blocks*

Septimus: *His spear was thrusted further forward*

Jenna:*pushes him back*

Septimus: *He powers through and continues trying to impale her*

Jenna:*summons a dead guy*

Septimus: "Good, I was hired by the emperor after all."

Jenna: #backs up slowly* you aren't here to kill me, are you?

Septimus: "No, I am here to capture you. Don't make this any harder than it needs to be."

Jenna:*grabs her trident*

Septimus: *He snatched the trident out of her hand*

Jenna: -_-

Septimus: *He put his spear and her trident on his back and grabbed her arm, taking her outside*

Jenna: you. Suck.

Septimus: "I do as the emperor commands."

Jenna: I know

Septimus: *He lets her stand up*
"Go on, I won't strike you whilst you're down."

Jenna:*shakily* wouldn't that kill me quicker?

Septimus: *The crowd begins chanting for Septimus to kill Jenna and he jabbed her at the rib*

(I think it would be kinda fun if she faked her death in front of all these people but she actually survived lol)

Septimus: "Farewell."
*He punched her in the face as hard as he could*

Jenna:*pretends to be dead*

Septimus: *He gently kicked her body s few time before sticking his hands up in the air to show her defeat all whilst the crowd cheered madly*

Jenna:*waits for everyone to leave*

Septimus: "Are you some sort of weakling who can't handle a fight?"

Jenna: no, but I have a child.

Septimus: "I don't let my opponent escape willingly, you're not leaving this time."
*He drops his spear and punches her*

Jenna: *sigh$

Septimus: *He continued and launched a flurry of aggressive punches*

Jenna:*manages to block most of them*

Septimus: *He mixed it up with a front kick and slammed onto the tip of his spear, causing it to fly up into the air*

Jenna:*grabs her trident"

Septimus: *He caught his spear and the flames began engulfing everything but the base*

Jenna: o-o

Septimus: "If you kneel the emperor may give you mercy."

Jenna:*kneels*

Septimus: *He turns to the emperor then back to Jenna*
"I shall make your death clean and painless."

Jenna: thank you

Septimus: "You have the chance to flee, run if you must. I shall pretend it was a mistake."

Jenna: alright *runs*

Septimus: *He paused for a moment before throwing his spear towards her like a javelin, it effortlessly piercing through the sky*

Jenna:*relief*

(wdym '*relief*', she just got impaled with a spear?)

*The whole place seems to stay quiet as he points his spear towards her neck and yells:*
"Only one of us will come out of here alive."

jenna: thats fine by me

Septimus: "I shall strike first."
*He thrust his spear towards her stomach*

jenna:*dodges and swings her trident towards his neck*

Septimus: *He ducked out of the way then sprung up and dealt a powerful headbutt*

jenna: agh!

Septimus: *He dealt a flurry of strikes with his spear*

jenna: *tries to avoid them but a couple hit*

Septimus: *He backs up and gets back into a fighting stance*

jenna:*catches her breath*

Septimus: "If you dared say such a thing to the emperor your head would be on the floor in a matter of seconds."

Jenna: that's why I didn't

Septimus: "Good choice."
*He takes her back to the coleseum and tosses her the trident*

Jenna:*catches it*

Guards: *They surrounded the arena, each armed with a spear, bow with arrows and shield*
Septimus: "Now for a fair fight."

Jenna: alright

*The crowd began booing at Jenna*
Septimus: "A rags to riches story? Or the other way around?"

Jenna: thee other way around

Septimus: "The only reason I let you run away was to bring you back and guarantee your death the next time."

Jenna: oh

Septimus: "I honestly thought you were dead."

jenna: well, clearly not

Septimus: "I would of expected the emperor's guards to hunt you down and, you know."

jenna: i'm very good at hiding

Septimus: "Jenna, that's your name, correct?"

jenna: yes

Septimus: "Your name does not sound Roman..."

jenna: i'm not from here

Septimus: "Elaborate."

jenna: i've been doing a lot of travel lately because my kingdom was destroyed

Septimus: *He chased after her and briefly turned to the emperor, his face full of rage*

Jenna:*gone*

Septimus: *He's eyeing up different swords and armour at a blacksmith shop*

jenna: *sharpening her trident8

Septimus: *He notices her and taps her shoulder*
"You're okay?"

jenna: huh? yeah

Septimus: "A tactical retreat is not cowardly."

jenna: i gguess thats true, but now the emperor wants my head

Septimus: "A small price to pay for one's own survival."

Jenna: yeah true

Septimus: *He thinks for a moment and looks around*

Jenna: what?

Septimus: "Sorry, I just was making sure noone was listening in."

Jenna: oh

Septimus: "Would you like to fight again?"

Jenna: not right now, but sure

Septimus: *He seemed interested*
"You were a queen?"

jenna: not for very long though

Septimus: "And why was your kingdom destroyed?"

jenna: a war

Septimus: "You will not have to worry about that here, we pride ourselves on our power."

jenna: alright

Septimus: "You sound uninterested..."

Septimus: "Good, the emporer was furious when he realized that you had gotten away, you'll be top on his wanted list for a while."

jenna: i did what i had to to survive, even if i seem like a coward

???: "You have come seeking a battle, correct?"

jenna: yes i have

???: "Then you shall receive one."
*He points his spear towards Jenna*

jenna: *draws her trident*

*The crowd seems to be chanting his name, yelling "Septimus" over and over again*

Jenna: *thought: oh right no one knows who I am here*

Septimus: "State you name if you must."

Jenna: I'm Jenna.

Septimus: *He slams his staff on the ground and the whole place goes silent*
Septimus: "Say it to them."

Jenna: oh ok *does that*

Septimus: *He steps back, making space*

-the dead guy doesn't really do much but run at you-

Septimus: *He slams his spear across its head*

-it collapses and seems to have died again-

Septimus: *He awaited her next attack, ready to strike at any moment*

Jenna:*quickly tries to figure out what to do*

Septimus: *He takes his opportunity and quickly thrusts his spear towards her stomach*

Jenna: agh!

Septimus: *He pulls it out and front kicks her*

Jenna: *falls, dropping her trident*

Septimus: *He repeatedly struck blows at her whilst mixing up a variety of punches within*
