I learned about the lgbtq community when I was 13 years old ((before then i didnt really know what being gay was, and was "homophobic" bc my church said so))
I don't think there was really a moment of realization for the most part, but I do remember one specific moment.
I was taking a survey for school, and I think I was about 14 at the time (middle school) and one of the questions was if you were male or female.
I was an egg at the time (unaware I was trans/enby) but was frustrated that it was a required answer.
I tried to submit the form without answering the gender question, but it wouldn't let me.
I brought the computer to my teacher and asked for help, since it wouldn't let me submit.
He said, "Oh, you haven't answered a question." and scrolled up to it. he looked at me and asked "Female, right?"
Since I was an Egg, it didn't really bother me, but I said "I protest lol"
Only a month or two later, I became genderqueer, until figuring out I was nonbinary.
So that is the only turning point moment I can think of. My Sexuality was a lot more complicated and took place over time.
