Not sure if you can, But in some places (way far up north or really far from any civilization) you can see the Andromeda Galaxy, Makes for a really good road trip and a nice photo album.

note: Recommended spots are Alaska, Yukon, Nunavut, Utah, Arizona, Mostly spots were there are no big cities around/light pollution.
