Without them flying away?

I have a bird feeder right outside my front window mabey 12 feet away and a large picture window.
I use a 70 mm zoom lense on my nikon d 3400.

I was wondering lol, because I tried to take a pic with my phone, and the quality does not compare at all

How do you get so up close to the birds?
