Kai: HEY! Shit, that ain’t gonna work… *He runs after them*

*They look back, then start running faster.*

*He ducks into an alleyway that he knows as a shortcut, then appears in front of them after a minute or so*

"AAAH!" *They slide to a stop, then fall backwards, dropping the grapes.*

*He thinks to himself for a moment, then starts speaking and signing simultaneously* “I’m so sorry! I was trying to stop you so you wouldn’t get into any more trouble! Tip for the future: don’t run if you steal something. It makes people more suspicious.” *He crouches down and picks up the grapes, dusting them off.*

*They get up* "You know sign..?" *They're now very curious and also a bit happy about that.*

“Well, I’m self taught, so I’m not very good. I do TV broadcasts, so I like to be accessible to as many people as possible! I suspected you might be deaf when you didn’t respond to the various people shouting after you.”

"..That's nice!"

*they start grinning*

*Enny messes with them by levitating the grapes upwards.*

He cant hold laughter.

*they give up, starting to cry.*

The grapes slowly fall back into their hands.

He walks over to them, slowly.

*They back away*

He signs, “No reason to be scared.”

*They back away more, confused.*

He signs once again, “Not here to hurt you.”

"...Okay."

He smiles a bit.

*They nod slightly, then back away more.*

They stand there.

*They stare at the grapes in their hands.*

There seems to be… A lot more grapes.

*they keep staring, still confused.*

And a few more grow.

*They stop in place, staring agape-mouthed at the grapes.*

He made the grapes spin.

*They back away from the grapes, but lose their balance, falling back on their head.*

He uses some more of his powers to lift him up, so his head doesn’t hit the ground.

"What-" *They get up, looking around panicked.*

He stood there, as silent as could be.

"What the..?" *They speak, then start running off again after jumping up and grabbing the grapes.*

He kept them still in the air.

"LET GO!" *they cry out.*

He dangles them around them.

Max" ... "

*They suddenly trip on a rock, falling face-first and dropping the grapes.*

Max" ??? "
* He is blind *

*They get up, grabbing the grapes, and running off again.*

*I chuckle, then head inside(Or to where ever the kid got the grapes) to pay for the stolen grapes*

*I walk back out a few minutes later*

*Turns out they came back for more, as they bump into you and fall down.*

"Sorry!" *I lift the kid up off the ground* "Are you ok?!"

"Huh-?!" *They back away, scared.*

*Calmly* "Are you ok?" *I look the kid over checking for injuries* "Did you hurt yourself?"

*They back away, trying to push you back softly.*

*I show you my hands* "I am not going to hurt you, Did you hurt yourself when you fell?"

*They stare at your hands, not knowing what you said.*

"Wait can you even hear me?"

*I sign* "Did you hurt yourself?"

"Ah- No... I'm sorry for stealing." *They seem to have responded only to the signing.*

"Its ok, Where are your parents?"

"Uh..."

*Do you...not know where your parents are?"

"I-i..."

"...they're... gone."

"I am so sorry" *I give you a hug*

"Ah..?"

"How about this,We go inside" *I motion to the store behind us* "and get you some grapes or something else"
