contrary to popular beliefs, death per se is not a relief. you are leaving everyone you know, everyone who loves you, a simple memory of when you once lived. death is unease, life is labour.

then, you might die knowing nothing is left for you in the world. you would stop caring about your feats. worldliness, anchors, would be gone. if you wouldnt care about past memories, do you really have something to cling onto?
