.deleted makes usernames long and not read great unless you use one word before, most of the .deleted's had multiple/imaginary words that don't look clean. otic is a nice small touch to some names that makes them not hard to read.
imagine badlydrawnaxolotl.deleted or Axolotic. A good thing for a .deleted username is to shorten the existing username, many people don't do that. Axolotl.deleted is much better than badlydrawnaxolotl.deleted
