I remember I was playing super mario 64 ds, I collected all the stars and kept resetting to play it all over again until one day it felt different. It was quieter and felt even more empty, toad had less dialogue and everything had a darker, deader color. There was no fountain in the back garden of the castle, but when I stood in the spot, I was taken to the dire dire docks level and I swam to explore for a while until I saw luigi's corpse floating in the water. There was some dialogue but I couldn't read it because it was blurry until the unagi (the red sea eel) came up and ate us both. I was all of the sudden playing as Wario now, and I was in a dark hall. When all of the sudden the screen was flashing red and black and I was back as mario. I was running down the hall until I saw wario's apparition chase me, I ran for 5 straight whole minutes until he finally caught me and I was teleported to a room I never saw before. It was behind the crystal glass of princess peach, and there was a cake in the middle of that small room. when I went to it I teleported to a battle with bowser, he said a dialogue i couldn't read again until my ds ran out of battery.
