It got old with plot lines. Most Anime (From what I've seen) follow this plotline
1: Kid gets powers from powerful person.
2: Kid wants/gets in school with a bunch of random bullshit.
3: *Insert 3 seasons of filler here*
4: *Insert at least one movie here*
5: Kid defeats villain.
6: SPINOFF TIME!
Also, I won't stop watching it. Because its fun to hate on it.

Honestly, I have seen some anime that are different than what you said *cough* Fairy Tail and Akame Ga Kill *cough* but I am sure they both are, lets say, unusual even for anime (also, nice reference at the end lol)
Agreed. That's why I keep watching it. Because you always find some Anime that are really good. I have watched Akame, and I enjoyed it. They were good because the protagonist already knew what they were doing. Thank you for having a reasonable conversation. (Thanks for getting the reference)
