Is there a specfic color you need for shading? for example red - use a maroon for shadeing

okay so with hair (i use achohl markers) I color the hair and let that dry. Then not the bangs but the other bits of hair I outline with the color again, shade more when it is by the neck. then with outline pen and fly away hairs :)
with lighting, I got a white out pen 10/10 would recommend! adding highlights gives it more depth in a way. hope this helped :)
