I hate both shows, I just think it's weird I never see this pointed out

It was from a simpler time when people didnt care about that stuff it because it shouldn't really matter since its animated. At least if they are over a certain "age" I haven't watched either probably never will. Though I might at least watch a couple minutes of velma to see how they've butchered my favorite gang. Haven't decided yet.

I dunno. Big Mouth was controversial when it premiered. 6 years ago isn't enough time for it to be from "different time" imo. For your own sanity, I recommend you stay far away from Velma. You really gain nothing from watching it.
