I'm still sad about Jeff Beck's passing.

Kirk isn't that old yet. He'll still be around for a long time. I'm more worried about Keith Richards, because he's gonna 80 this year. Maybe I shouldn't think about that this much. I mean, Keith Richards seems to be immortal.

Yeah, that's true. We've lost many great guitarists and we'll lose many more.

Yeah...like a factory. They keep coming and going.

Yeah...sadly there aren't coming as many guitarists as a couple of decades ago. To be honest I'm a bit worried about the future of rock and metal, because I don't know a lot of young people who listen to that type of music and play an instrument. Let's just hope for the best. I mean, there are a couple of good new bands.

Yeah. I would go as far to say that it's slowly but surely dying.

It's sad but true. When I listen to the radio I always ask myself how these people even got a record deal with this kind of music. I've been trying to form a band for a couple of years now. The problem is that it seems nearly impossible to find people my age (I'm 16) who are interested in playing in a band. At the pubs in my hometown there are bands, but these dudes are all over 60.

Oh, cool! I really hope you can get your band together.

You know, now I'm kind of curious about that. What will you call the band if and when you get it together?

And what kind of rock will you do?

I don't have an idea for a band name yet. I think it kinda depends on what kind of music the band plays. I couldn't really decide what genre to choose, because I like everything from blues and rock to metal. Maybe a mix of it all. I hope, I'll find some bandmates soon. I've been to some gigs of small bands in my hometown and standing on stage and playing guitar seems to me like the coolest thing ever. It would be so cool to do that as well.

Alright. Well, all of that makes sense. And I hope you can eventually achieve all of that.
