Well, there's always spite. Spite the people who doubted you could do it, and outlive them. Also, there's absurdity. It's stupid that we're here to begin with, so we might as well see where it goes.
There's interesting pursuits outside of cliché life goals, or there's (my personal favorite) doing nothing, and a lot of jobs you can do while wearing earbuds...
