this would be most unfortunate

this would be most unfortunate | SO HERE’S A FUNNY THEORY THAT WOULD SCREW THINGS UP IN THE MCU, CALLED THE KANG-THANOS PARADOX:; THE KANG-THANOS PARADOX; so you know how Tony Stark has to use time travel for the Avengers
to get the Infinity Stones and then beat Thanos from 9 years before?
And now Kang, a master of time travel, is the next big villain. Kang’s
time travel mastery is completely due to technology, which means
Tony Stark’s time travel has been being improved for 1100 years
(since Kang is from 3100 AD). So what if there’s only one way to
defeat Kang: to not invent time travel in 2023 (when Endgame
happens), so that people don’t improve on it until Kang happens? So
the heroes are stuck with two options; lose to Thanos and lose 50%
of this multiverse’s population, or Kang takes over and all multiverses
get mass murdered/enslaved. Thus, the Kang-Thanos Paradox,
where the Avengers must choose between losing to Thanos or Kang. | image tagged in black background | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

That would mean
No groot
No Sam
No Bucky
No Spiderman
And whoever else dusted, I can’t remember off the top of my head. I feel like that would be bad for business to kill off half of your characters, including some popular ones. Good idea though

But the MCU hasn't seemed to care much about that lately
Otherwise they wouldn't have hired folks like Jessica Gao who has the humor of a toad's face mixed with the sound of the dryer, and has no business directing stuff

True. Honestly most stuff past endgame is just terrible now. Multiverse of madness is the only post endgame movie I have watched and it sucked. I like the older, less complex movies better, like the captain American trilogy and the first ironman

No Way Home was extremely complex and it was Endgame level good, but it’s the only thing so far. Shang Chi was mid at best, MoM was garbage (and it was more about Wanda and America Chavez [who has no business acting next to Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen], than it was about Doctor Strange, whose movie it was). Thor 4 was an abomination, She-Hulk was even worse (at least Thor 4 got you to laugh sometimes; She-Hulk’s only funny moments are when you realize that the show passed through a writers room without getting shut down, and that people paid for it to be aired.) Eternals was just bad. Black Widow was fun but it slyly humiliated men in favor of women.
Wandavision was great, FatWS was okay (it was extremely political tho), Loki was cool (especially since it introduced us to Kang), What If… was just weird, etc

This was what made MoM really bad… WandaVision and Spiderman No Way Home, the best two installments since Endgame, both set up MoM and it was a disasterous letdown.

Oh yeah I did watch Shang chi. I was pleasantly surprised actually.
Yeah that person who was America Chavez was no good. My friend watched part of Thor4 with me and we both quit less then half an hour in.

yea it had some really cool scenes (especially the fight up at the top of a friggin’ building) and Awkwafina was hilarious in it (and the fact that he changed his name from Shang-Chi to Sean)
Some of the plot was ridiculous but overall it had cool scenes, which is more than many superhero movies in a couple years
yea Xochitl Gomez doesn’t have the chops to act next to them. Since she’s a 16 yo girl (who was literally 1 when Iron Man came out), I’d want to give her grace, but they tried to make her a strong female character and she can’t even pull it off. And she’s next to Elizabeth Olsen, who is absolutely phenomenal at everything she does. And Benedict Cumberbatch (even if his own movie has nothing to do with him).
