I’ve been through this many times. Every time someone says what you just said, I prove them wrong

no matter how realistic it may look, nothing can replicate the charm of human art

What’s the difference though? You describe the image in your head and you draw it
You can also describe the image to ai and it can draw it for you
As long as you give the right prompt, it can do it for you, just as a person could

as corny as this may sound, humans put care and effort into art
ai barely even MAKES art, it just takes other people's stuff, mashes it together, and shits something out
yeah ai's cool, but it will NEVER replace human art and any sensible being should know that

The mashing thing is true, that’s why models have to be tuned off of millions of images to work properly. But if we were able to train it to make perfect images and train it off of every image out there, then it could possibly recreate perfect looking images. Besides, just look up midjourney v5 images and you’ll see how far it has come in terms of realism.
