Fun fact: the mafia actually gives money to the pope once a year (around either Christmas or Easter) so he can give it to the poor. My Nana's friend had to do it this year instead of taking her to Cuba for a few days since the guy who usually delivers the money had an emergency last minute and couldn't do it.
