Because in public healthcare doctors decide what treatment you get. Hey my brother in christ. Many socialized healthcare systems can down right refuse to treat you. This family in England there kid was sick and needed treatment and the treatment was simple and the healthcare system denied them treatment, and then refused to let them leave the country to seek better help because it would make England look bad. Also our private system you can still get treatment but you will go into debt, but at least that's better than no treatment.

HAAAA Firstly, no, they cannot refuse to treat you. I know this because I lived in the UK for 30+ years before I moved to the USA. If you're going to cite an anecdotal example, at least get it right. Like I said before, a private insurer can refuse to pay for your treatment and your shit out of luck. If you have something even partly government run and you're not getting the right treatment - now you have recourse through statute, civil rights and Constitutional rights. Not the same thing.
