More of a headcanon but... Crying Child being blinded (at least somewhat) in the Bite of '83. Assuming he's face down when Fredbear's jaws clamp down then the Bite also takes out the visual cortex, and that leads to "blindsight" which I am not going to try to explain, I don't have a neurology degree unlike MatPat

There's just no dang way the Bite took out only his frontal lobe, looking at the pixel art.
